সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি মোটেই নির্বোধ নই, বরং আমি বিশ্ব প্রতিপালকের প্রেরিত পয়গম্বর।
(Hûd) said: ”O my people! There is no foolishness in me, but (I am) a Messenger from the Lord of the ’Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِي سَفَاهَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Qala ya qawmi laysa bee safahatun walakinnee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena
YUSUFALI: He said: “O my people! I am no imbecile, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!
PICKTHAL: He said: O my people! There is no foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds.
SHAKIR: He said: O my people! there is no folly in me, but I am an messenger of the Lord of the worlds.
KHALIFA: He said, “O my people, there is no foolishness in me; I am a messenger from the Lord of the universe.
