তারা কি করে বুঝবে, অথচ তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন স্পষ্ট বর্ণনাকারী রসূল।
How can there be for them an admonition (at the time when the torment has reached them), when a Messenger explaining things clearly has already come to them.
أَنَّى لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَى وَقَدْ جَاءهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
Anna lahumu alththikra waqad jaahum rasoolun mubeenun
YUSUFALI: How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-
PICKTHAL: How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them,
SHAKIR: How shall they be reminded, and there came to them an Messenger making clear (the truth),
KHALIFA: Now that it is too late, they remember! An enlightening messenger had come to them.
১৩। তাদের জন্য উপদেশ কি ভাবে [কার্যকর ] হবে, যখন [ ইতিমধ্যে ] তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট ব্যাখ্যাদানকারী একজন রসুল এসেছে,- ৪৬৯৭
৪৬৯৭। কোরাইশদের সম্মুখে রাসুলের [ সা ] জীবন ছিলো পবিত্রতার প্রতীক যে কারণে তারা তাঁকে আল্-আমীন [ বিশ্বাসী ]উপাধিতে ভূষিত করেছিলো। রাসুল তাদের মাঝে তাদের ভাষাতেই আল্লাহ্র বাণী প্রচার করেন। তাঁর বক্তব্য ছিলো স্বচ্ছ ও মাধুর্য্যপূর্ণ ও যুক্তিপূর্ণ। তবুও সে বাণীর আবেদন কোরেশদের মনোজগতে কোনও আবেদন সৃষ্টি করতে পারে নাই। তাঁরা রাসুলকে প্রত্যাখান করে এই বলে যে তাঁর প্রচারিত বাণী আল্লাহ্র বাণী নয়, তিনি কারও শেখানো বুলি আওড়াচ্ছেন বা তিনি তো একজন উম্মাদ ব্যক্তি যার বক্তব্য সামঞ্জস্যবিহীন। এরূপ কদর্য মানসিকতাপূর্ণ ব্যক্তির অন্তরে কিভাবে আল্লাহ্র বাণী আসন লাভ করতে পারে ? কিভাবে তারা আল্লাহ্র নূরে বিধৌত হতে পারবে ?
