জাহান্নামের সামনে উপস্থিত করার সময় আপনি তাদেরকে দেখবেন, অপমানে অবনত এবং অর্ধ নিমীলিত দৃষ্টিতে তাকায়। মুমিনরা বলবে, কেয়ামতের দিন ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত তারাই, যারা নিজেদের ও তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে। শুনে রাখ, পাপাচারীরা স্থায়ী আযাবে থাকবে।
And you will see them brought forward to it (Hell) made humble by disgrace , (and) looking with stealthy glance. And those who believe will say: ”Verily, the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, the Zâlimûn [i.e. Al-Kâfirûn (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness and in His Messenger SAW , polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.)] will be in a lasting torment.
وَتَرَاهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَاشِعِينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِيٍّ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ
Watarahum yuAAradoona AAalayha khashiAAeena mina alththulli yanthuroona min tarfin khafiyyin waqala allatheena amanoo inna alkhasireena allatheena khasiroo anfusahum waahleehim yawma alqiyamati ala inna alththalimeena fee AAathabin muqeemin
YUSUFALI: And thou wilt see them brought forward to the (Penalty), in a humble frame of mind because of (their) disgrace, (and) looking with a stealthy glance. And the Believers will say: “Those are indeed in loss, who have given to perdition their own selves and those belonging to them on the Day of Judgment. Behold! Truly the Wrong-doers are in a lasting Penalty!”
PICKTHAL: And thou wilt see them exposed to (the Fire), made humble by disgrace, and looking with veiled eyes. And those who believe will say: Lo! the (eternal) losers are they who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! are not the wrong-doers in perpetual torment?
SHAKIR: And you shall see them brought before it humbling themselves because of the abasements, looking with a faint glance. And those who believe shall say: Surely the losers are they who have lost themselves and their followers on the resurrection day. Now surely the iniquitous shall remain in lasting chastisement.
KHALIFA: You will see them facing it, humiliated and debased, and looking, yet trying to avoid looking. Those who believed will proclaim: “The real losers are those who lost their souls and their families on the Day of Resurrection. The transgressors have deserved an everlasting retribution.”
৪৫। তুমি দেখবে যে, অবনত অবস্থায় তাদের [ শাস্তির ] দিকে অগ্রসর করানো হবে এই কারণে তারা অপমানে চোরা চাহ্নীতে তাকাবে ৪৫৮৮। এবং বিশ্বাসীরা বলবে, ” যারা নিজেদের ও নিজ পরিবারবর্গের [পরলোকের সুখ ] ধ্বংস করে , প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ হবে শেষ বিচারের দিনে।” সাবধান ! পাপীরা থাকবে চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তির মাঝে ৪৫৮৯।
৪৫৮৮। পৃথিবীর জীবনে পাপীরা ছিলো উদ্ধত অহংকারী , তারা ভুলে গিয়েছিলো যে, পৃথিবীর জীবন হচ্ছে পরলোকের ” শিক্ষানবীশ কাল” মাত্র। এখন পরলোকে যখন তারা প্রকৃত অবস্থা উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে , তারা বিনয় ও নম্রতায় মাটির সাথে মিশে যেতে চাইবে। তারা তাদের দুঃখ দুর্দ্দশাতে হতাশ হয়ে পড়বে। পৃথিবীর জীবনের কোনও অনুগ্রহই সেখানে দেখতে পাবে না [ দেখুন আয়াত ২০ : ১২৪ – ১২৬ ]। যখন তারা তাদের বিপদ বিপর্যয় উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে তারা এত ভীত হয়ে পড়বে যে তাদের শুধুমাত্র তীর্যকভাবে তাকানোর ক্ষমতা থাকবে।
৪৫৮৯। মুমিন ব্যক্তিদের চিন্তা , অভিজ্ঞতা, উপলব্ধি , ভিন্ন খাতে প্রবাহিত হবে। ” সকল দুঃখ – কষ্ট, বিপদ ,বিপর্যয়,নির্যাতন, ব্যঙ্গ-বিদ্রূপ, অত্যাচার অপমান, যা তারা পাথির্ব জীবনে ভোগ করতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলো সত্যের অনুসারীদের শত্রুদের দ্বারা, সেগুলি সব মূল্যহীন হয়ে পড়বে। শেষ বিচারের দিনে প্রতিটি কাজের প্রকৃত মূল্য প্রকাশ হয়ে পড়বে। সত্যকে প্রতিরোধ এবং সত্যকে প্রত্যাখান দ্বারা পাপীরা নিজেদের আত্মার গুণাবলীকে ধবংস করে ফেলে, ফলে এসব আত্মা হয় সত্যবিমুখ ও আধ্যাত্মিক দিক থেকে মৃত। মন্দ ও উদ্ধত অহংকারীরা এভাবেই তাদের আত্মাকে ধ্বংস করে ফেলে , যা হয় দোযখের ইন্ধন। এসব দোযখের অধিবাসী ও তাদের সাথে যারা সহযোগীতা করতো সকলেই দোযখে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে। আর এই শাস্তি হবে অনন্তকাল স্থায়ী।
