আমি তাকে ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সেজদা করছে। শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কার্যাবলী সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছে। অতএব তারা সৎপথ পায় না।
”I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allâh, and Shaitân (Satan) has made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and has barred them from (Allâh’s) Way, so they have no guidance,”
وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoona lilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli fahum la yahtadoona
YUSUFALI: “I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,-
PICKTHAL: I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fairseeming unto them, and debarreth them from the way (of Truth), so that they go not aright;
SHAKIR: I found her and her people adoring the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright
KHALIFA: “I found her and her people prostrating before the sun, instead of GOD. The devil has adorned their works in their eyes, and has repulsed them from the path; consequently, they are not guided.”
২৪। ” আমি তাকে ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম আল্লাহ্র পরিবর্তে সূর্যের এবাদত করতে ৩২৬৬। শয়তান তাদের কার্যাবলী তাদের চোখে মনোহর করেছে এবং সে তাদের সঠিক পথ থেকে নিবৃত্ত করেছে – সুতারাং তারা পথ-নির্দ্দেশ লাভ করে না, –
৩২৬৬। সাবার লোকদের [ Himyar or Sabaeans ] প্রাচীন ধর্ম ছিলো নভোমন্ডলের সূর্য, চন্দ্র ও তারকারাজিকে পূঁজা করা। সম্ভবতঃ এই ধর্ম বিশ্বাস হযরত ইব্রাহীমের পিতার দেশ চালদিয়া [ Chaldaea ] থেকে আগত। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৬ : ৭৫ – ৭৯ এবং এর টিকা ]। কারণ আবেসিনিয়া মেসোপটেমিয়া এবং পারস্য উপসাগরে ইয়েমেনবাসীদের অবাধ যাতায়াত ছিলো।
সাবাঈনদের ধর্ম [ Sabaean আরবীতে সিন্ দিয়ে লেখা হয় ] এবং সাবীয়ানদের ধর্মের [ Sabian আরবীতে সোয়াদ দিয়ে লেখা হয় ] মধ্যে তালগোল পাকিয়ে ফেলা ঠিক নয়। সাবীয়ানদের সম্পর্কে দেখুন আয়াত [ ২ : ৬২ ] এবং টিকা ৭৬।
