তিনি আল্লাহ, যিনি বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, অতঃপর তা মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চারিত করে। অতঃপর তিনি মেঘমালাকে যেভাবে ইচ্ছা আকাশে ছড়িয়ে দেন এবং তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন। এরপর তুমি দেখতে পাও তার মধ্য থেকে নির্গত হয় বৃষ্টিধারা। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা পৌঁছান; তখন তারা আনন্দিত হয়।
Allâh is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He will, lo! they rejoice!
اللَّهُ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَيَبْسُطُهُ فِي السَّمَاء كَيْفَ يَشَاء وَيَجْعَلُهُ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ فَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِهِ مَن يَشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
Allahu allathee yursilu alrriyaha fatutheeru sahaban fayabsutuhu fee alssama-i kayfa yashao wayajAAaluhu kisafan fatara alwadqa yakhruju min khilalihi fa-itha asaba bihi man yashao min AAibadihi itha hum yastabshiroona
YUSUFALI: It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-
PICKTHAL: Allah is He Who sendeth the winds so that they raise clouds, and spreadeth them along the sky as pleaseth Him, and causeth them to break and thou seest the rain downpouring from within them. And when He maketh it to fall on whom He will of His bondmen, lo! they rejoice;
SHAKIR: Allah is he Who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants, lo! they are joyful
KHALIFA: GOD is the One who sends the winds, to stir up clouds, to be spread throughout the sky in accordance with His will. He then piles the clouds up, then you see the rain coming down therefrom. When it falls on whomever He chooses from among His servants, they rejoice.
৪৮। আল্লাহ্-ই বাতাসকে প্রেরণ করেন , যা মেঘমালাকে আনায়ন করে, ৩৫৬৬ তারপরে তিনি যে ভাবে ইচ্ছা করেন তা আকাশে বিছিয়ে দেন, এবং ছোট ছোট টুকরাতে ভেঙ্গে দেন, যতক্ষণ না তুমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে বৃষ্টির ফোঁটা বের হতে দেখ। তারপরে তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের যার প্রতি ইচ্ছা করেন উহা বর্ষণ করেন ৩৫৬৭। দেখ ! [ তারা ] আনন্দ প্রকাশ করে, –
৩৫৬৬। এই আয়াতে পুণরায় বাতাসের উপমাকে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে তবে তা ভিন্ন দৃষ্টি কোণ থেকে জাগতিক ও আধ্যাত্মিক উভয় ক্ষেত্রে যা প্রযোজ্য। পৃথিবীতে আমরা দেখি বাতাস মেঘকে নিয়ে খেলা করে। বাতাস পৃথিবীর উপরিভাগের পানি শোষণ করে নিয়ে কালো মেঘকে পৌঁছে দেয় – যা পরবর্তীতে বৃষ্টিরূপে পৃথিবীর শুষ্ক মাটিকে সিক্ত করে। বাতাস ব্যতীত মেঘের বিস্তার সম্ভব ছিলো না। ধরাতলে সুষম বৃষ্টির দ্বারা মাটি সুষমভাবে উর্বরতা লাভ করতো না। এও তো আল্লাহ্র এক বিরাট অনুগ্রহ তাঁর বান্দাদের জন্য। ঠিক সেরূপ আল্লাহ্র বাণী মানুষের আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের আশা আকাঙ্খাকে জাগরিত করে। যখন তা ঘটে মানুষের হৃদয় মন আনন্দে উদ্বেলিত হয়।
