এতে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে এবং আমি পরীক্ষাকারী।
Verily, in this [what We did as regards drowning of the people of Nûh (Noah)], there are indeed Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc. for men to understand), for sure We are ever putting (men) to the test.
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ
Inna fee thalika laayatin wa-in kunna lamubtaleena
YUSUFALI: Verily in this there are Signs (for men to understand); (thus) do We try (men).
PICKTHAL: Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting (mankind) to the test.
SHAKIR: Most surely there are signs in this, and most surely We are ever trying (men).
KHALIFA: These should provide sufficient proofs for you. We will certainly put you to the test.
৩০। অবশ্যই এতে নিদর্শন রয়েছে [ মানুষের অনুধাবন করার জন্য ]। [ এভাবেই ] আমি [ মানুষদের ] পরীক্ষা করে থাকি ২৮৯৩।
২৮৯৩। নূহ্ এর সম্প্রদায়কে বিভিন্ন ভাবে তাদের পাপ কাজের জন্য সাবধান করা হয় এবং অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র ইচ্ছার কাছে আত্মসমর্পনের সুযোগ দান করা হয়। কিন্তু তারা সত্যকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করে এবং ধবংস প্রাপ্ত হয়। আল্লাহ্র সত্য ধ্বংস হওয়ার নয় তা চিরন্তন সত্য, স্থায়ী। পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের মাঝে তা বিরাজ করবেই। নূহ্ এর মহাপ্লাবনের পরে ‘আদ’ সম্প্রদায়ের আগমন। তবে আল্লাহ্র এই বাণী কোন নির্দ্দিষ্ট সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য নয়। তা যুগ ও কাল অতিক্রান্ত। মানুষ তবুও কি তা অনুধাবন করবে না?
