যাতে তারা তার ফল খায়। তাদের হাত একে সৃষ্টি করে না। অতঃপর তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না কেন?
That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks?
لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Liya/kuloo min thamarihi wama AAamilat-hu aydeehim afala yashkuroona
YUSUFALI: That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks?
PICKTHAL: That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?
SHAKIR: That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands did not make it; will they not then be grateful?
KHALIFA: This is to provide them with fruits, and to let them manufacture with their own hands whatever they need. Would they be thankful?
৩৫। যেনো এই [ সৌন্দর্যের ] ফল তারা ভোগ করতে পারে ৩৯৭৯। অথচ , এসব তাদের হস্ত সৃষ্টি করে নাই , তবুও কি তারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করবে না ? ৩৯৮০
৩৯৭৯। উপরে ৩৩ নং আয়াতে এবং এই আয়াতে ভোগ করা অর্থাৎ জীবন ধারণ করা , উপভোগ করা এবং তৃপ্তি লাভ করা বোঝানো হয়েছে। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৭ : ১৯ ] ও টিকা ১০০৪ এবং আয়াত [ ৫ : ৬৯। ও টিকা ৭৭৬।
৩৯৮০। মানুষ ফসল উৎপন্ন করার জন্য জমি চাষ করে, ফসল বোনে , সার ও সেচ ইত্যাদি কর্ম সম্পাদন করে সত্য, কিন্তু বীজের অঙ্কুরোদ্গম , বা ফসলের বৃদ্ধি ও ফুল ও ফলের পরিণতির উপরে মানুষের কোনও হাত নাই। এ সকলই হচ্ছে সেই বিশ্ব স্রষ্টার হাতের কাজ তার জ্ঞান , প্রজ্ঞা ও শিল্প সত্ত্বার প্রকাশ মাত্র। সৃষ্ট জীবের জন্য স্রষ্টার সদয় তত্বাবধান নিহিত আছে প্রকৃতির বিভিন্ন ঘটনার মাঝে।
