তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করে না? করলে দেখত তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কি পরিণাম হয়েছে। অথচ তারা তাদের অপেক্ষা অধিকতর শক্তিশালী ছিল। আকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে কোন কিছুই আল্লাহকে অপারগ করতে পারে না। নিশ্চয় তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ সর্বশক্তিমান।
Have they not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them, and they were superior to them in power? Allâh is not such that anything in the heavens or in the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is AllKnowing, AllOmnipotent.
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا
Awa lam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihim wakanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan wama kana Allahu liyuAAjizahu min shay-in fee alssamawati wala fee al-ardi innahu kana AAaleeman qadeeran
YUSUFALI: Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them,- though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful.
PICKTHAL: Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty.
SHAKIR: Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them while they were stronger than these in power? And Allah is not such that any thing in the heavens or in the earth should escape Him; surely He is Knowing, Powerful.
KHALIFA: Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They were even stronger than they. Nothing can be hidden from GOD in the heavens, nor on earth. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent.
৪৪। তারা কি পৃথিবী ভ্রমণ করে না এবং দেখে না যে তাদের পূর্বে যারা গত হয়েছে তাদের কি পরিণাম হয়েছিলো ৩৯৩৯ – যদিও তারা শক্তিতে ছিলো ওদের অপেক্ষা অধিকতর বলশালী ? আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে এমন কিছু নাই যা আল্লাহকে পরাভূত করতে পারে। তিনি সব জানেন , সর্বশক্তিমান।
৩৯৩৯। দেখুন [ ৩০ : ৯ ]। আল্লাহ্র নবী, রাসুল , নিদর্শন বা প্রত্যাদেশের কোনও যুক্তি তর্কই যদি পাপীদের তাদের পাপ পথ থেকে বিরত করতে না পারে , এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ্ তাদের বলেছেন দেশ ভ্রমণ করে ইতিহাস থেকে শিক্ষা নিতে। পাপের শেষ পরিণতি সব সময়েই মন্দ। আল্লাহ্ প্রকৃতির আইনের ন্যায় নৈতিক ও আধ্যাত্মিক জীবনে এই আইন সৃষ্টি করেছেন যে মন্দ ও পাপ, সমাজ জীবনে ক্ষতের সৃষ্টি করবে। সঠিক সময়ে সে ক্ষতের চিকিৎসা না করলে সে ক্ষত ধীরে ধীরে সমগ্র সমাজ জীবনে প্রসার লাভ করে সামাজিক ব্যধিতে পরিণত হবে – তখন সে সমাজের ধ্বংস অনিবার্য। কারণ এই-ই হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র আইন। কোন ব্যক্তি বা জাতি বা প্রজন্ম যেনো মনে না করে যে, সে বা তারা বিশেষ কৌশল দ্বারা আল্লাহ্র এই আইনকে প্রতিহত করতে বা নিষ্কৃতি পেতে পারবে , তবে তা হবে মস্ত ভুল। পৃথিবীর সর্বোচ্চ শক্তিধর ও জ্ঞানীকেও আল্লাহ্র বিচার থেকে রেহাই দেয়া হবে না। পূর্ববর্তীদের এই পরিণাম থেকে শিক্ষা নিতে বলা হয়েছে।
