এবং স্বর্ণনির্মিতও দিতাম। এগুলো সবই তো পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ সামগ্রী মাত্র। আর পরকাল আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে তাঁদের জন্যেই যারা ভয় করে।
And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones etc. of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is only for the Muttaqûn.
وَزُخْرُفًا وَإِن كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Wazukhrufan wa-in kullu thalika lamma mataAAu alhayati alddunya waal-akhiratu AAinda rabbika lilmuttaqeena
YUSUFALI: And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous.
PICKTHAL: And ornaments of gold. Yet all that would have been but a provision of the life of the world. And the Hereafter with your Lord would have been for those who keep from evil.
SHAKIR: And (other) embellishments of gold; and all this is naught but provision of this world’s life, and the hereafter is with your Lord only for those who guard (against evil).
KHALIFA: Also many ornaments. All these are the temporary materials of this lowly life. The Hereafter – at your Lord – is far better for the righteous.
৩৪। এবং তাদের গৃহের জন্য [ রূপার ] দরজা ও [ রূপার ] সিংহাসন – যার উপরে তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসবে।
৩৫। এবং স্বর্ণের অলংকার ৪৬৩৭। কিন্তু এ সকল কিছুই বর্তমান জীবনের আরাম আয়েস মাত্র। পূণ্যাত্মাদের জন্য তোমার প্রভুর নিকটে রয়েছে পরকালের[ কল্যাণ ]।
৪৬৩৭। “স্বর্নের নির্মিত ” বা স্বর্ণ সজ্জা। এটাই হচ্ছে সূরার নামকরণ। পৃথিবীর চাকচিক্য মিথ্যা। জাগতিক চাকচিক্য শুধুমাত্র পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগসম্ভার যা আখিরাতের জীবনের সমৃদ্ধিকে ব্যাহত করে।
