মূসা বলল, আমার পালনকর্তা সম্যক জানেন যে তার নিকট থেকে হেদায়েতের কথা নিয়ে আগমন করেছে এবং যে প্রাপ্ত হবে পরকালের গৃহ। নিশ্চয় জালেমরা সফলকাম হবে না।
Mûsa (Moses) said: ”My Lord knows best him who came with guidance from Him, and whose will be the happy end in the Hereafter. Verily, the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) will not be successful.”
وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَن جَاء بِالْهُدَى مِنْ عِندِهِ وَمَن تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Waqala moosa rabbee aAAlamu biman jaa bialhuda min AAindihi waman takoonu lahu AAaqibatu alddari innahu la yuflihu alththalimoona
YUSUFALI: Moses said: “My Lord knows best who it is that comes with guidance from Him and whose end will be best in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper.”
PICKTHAL: And Moses said: My Lord is Best Aware of him who bringeth guidance from His presence, and whose will be the sequel of the Home (of bliss). Lo! wrong-doers will not be successful.
SHAKIR: And Musa said: My Lord knows best who comes with guidance from Him, and whose shall be the good end of the abode; surely the unjust shall not be successful.
KHALIFA: Moses said, “My Lord knows best who brought the guidance from Him, and who will be the ultimate victors. Surely, the transgressors never succeed.”
৩৭। মুসা বলেছিলো, ” আমার প্রভু সবচেয়ে ভালো জানেন কে তাঁর নিকট থেকে পথ নির্দেশ নিয়ে এসেছে এবং পরলোকে কার পরিণাম শুভ হবে নিশ্চয়ই পাপীরা কখনও সফলকাম হবে না।” ৩৩৬৯।
৩৩৬৯। “পাপীরা সফলকাম হবে না ” এই উক্তিটি আছে আয়াত [ ৬ : ১৫ ]। যারা নির্বোধের ন্যায় প্রকৃত সত্যকে প্রত্যাখান করে, পূর্বপুরুষদের দোহাই দেয় তাদের জন্য যুক্তি তর্ক বৃথা। তাই মুসা এ ক্ষেত্রে সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্র নিকট আবেদন করেছিলেন এবং জালিমদের পরিণতি সম্পর্কে সাবধান বাণী উচ্চারণ করেছিলেন। পরলোকের শেষ পরিণতি সম্বন্ধে বিশ্বাস করতে হলে আল্লাহ্র প্রতি ঈমানের প্রয়োজন। কিন্তু যাদের আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাস নাই তারা অবশ্যই পূর্বপুরুষদের মিথ্যা এবং পাপকেই গ্রহণ করবে – যা তাদের ধ্বংসের পথে নিয়ে যাবে।ফলে তাদের জাতীয় উন্নতি বাঁধাপ্রাপ্ত হবে এবং পৃথিবীর রঙ্গমঞ্চে তারা হয় অবহেলিত ও অপমানিত ( যেমন বাংলাদেশ)।
