তাঁর এক নিদর্শন এই যে, তুমি ভূমিকে দেখবে অনুর্বর পড়ে আছে। অতঃপর আমি যখন তার উপর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি, তখন সে শস্যশ্যামল ও স্ফীত হয়। নিশ্চয় যিনি একে জীবিত করেন, তিনি জীবিত করবেন মৃতদেরকেও। নিশ্চয় তিনি সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।
And among His Signs (in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, (He) is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاء اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Wamin ayatihi annaka tara al-arda khashiAAatan fa-itha anzalna AAalayha almaa ihtazzat warabat inna allathee ahyaha lamuhyee almawta innahu AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun
YUSUFALI: And among His Signs in this: thou seest the earth barren and desolate; but when We send down rain to it, it is stirred to life and yields increase. Truly, He Who gives life to the (dead) earth can surely give life to (men) who are dead. For He has power over all things.
PICKTHAL: And of His portents (is this): that thou seest the earth lowly, but when We send down water thereon it thrilleth and groweth. Lo! He Who quickeneth it is verily the Quickener of the Dead. Lo! He is Able to do all things.
SHAKIR: And among His signs is this, that you see the earth still, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells: most surely He Who gives it life is the Giver of life to the dead; surely He has power over all things.
KHALIFA: Among His proofs is that you see the land still, then, as soon as we shower it with water, it vibrates with life. Surely, the One who revived it can revive the dead. He is Omnipotent.
৩৯। তাঁর নিদর্শন সমূহের মধ্যে আর একটি এই যে, তুমি ভূমিকে বন্ধ্যা এবং প্রাণশূন্য দেখতে পাও ৪৫১০। কিন্তু যখন আমি বৃষ্টি প্রেরণ করি , উহা জীবন-স্পন্দনে আন্দোলিত হয় এবং উৎপাদনসমূহ বৃদ্ধি করে। যিনি [ মৃত ] ভূমিকে জীবন দান করতে পারেন তিনি অবশ্যই মৃত [ মানুষকে ] জীবন দান করতে পারেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সকল কিছুর উপরে ক্ষমতাশালী ৪৫১১।
৪৫১০। অপূর্ব সুন্দর উপমার সাহায্যে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে মানুষের আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের অবস্থানকে।পাপে আসক্ত আত্মা হচ্ছে শুষ্ক মাটির ন্যায়। যে মাটি খরার কবলে আক্রান্ত ; বৃষ্টি অভাবে, ছায়াহীন মাটি প্রখর রৌদ্রলোকে বৃক্ষতরুলতা শূন্য হয়ে মরুভূমির ন্যায় রূপ ধারণ করে। যে আত্মা পাপে আসক্ত , সে আত্মা আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ শূন্য হওয়ার ফলে ঐ মাটির ন্যায় রূপ ধারণ করে। মাটি হয় মরুভূমি সদৃশ্য,
বৃক্ষ তরুলতাশূন্য ; আত্মা হয় গুণরাজিশূন্য পশু প্রবৃত্তিতে পরিপূর্ণ। মানব জীবনের সৌন্দর্য বঞ্চিত এবং মনুষ্য জীবনের স্বার্থকতাহীন জীবন তারা যাপন করে। যারা আল্লাহ্র হেদায়েতের আলোতে ধন্য , যারা আল্লাহ্র রাস্তায় জীবন যাপন করেন, যারা মন্দকে ভালো দ্বারা প্রতিহত করেন, তাদের সাথে এই সব পাপে আসক্ত পশু প্রবৃত্তির লোকের পার্থক্য বাহ্যিক ভাবেই দৃষ্টিগোচর হয়। এসব লোকের আত্মা মৃত, ফলে তা ঘৃণা ও বিদ্বেষে পূর্ণ থাকে। বারিবর্ষণে যেরূপ মরুভূমি সদৃশ্য ভূমি উর্বরতা লাভ করে সজীব শষ্য শ্যামল রূপ ধারণ করে, ঠিক সেরূপ এ সব মৃত আত্মাও আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশের আলোতে জীবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে এবং আধ্যাত্মিক জগতে প্রবেশে সক্ষম হয়। স্রষ্টার মানুষ সৃষ্টির প্রকৃত উদ্দেশ্যকে সফল করতে সক্ষম হয়।
৪৫১১। আল্লাহ্র বাণীর শক্তি সম্বন্ধে আশ্চর্য হওয়ার কিছু নাই। ইহলোকে অথবা পরলোকে আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমতা সমভাবে বিদ্যমান।
