মুমিনরা তো পরস্পর ভাই-ভাই। অতএব, তোমরা তোমাদের দুই ভাইয়ের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করবে এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করবে-যাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহপ্রাপ্ত হও।
The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islâmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy.
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Innama almu/minoona ikhwatun faaslihoo bayna akhawaykum waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona
YUSUFALI: The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.
PICKTHAL: The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.
SHAKIR: The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you.
KHALIFA: The believers are members of one family; you shall keep the peace within your family and reverence GOD, that you may attain mercy.
১০। বিশ্বাসীগণ তো পরস্পর ভাই ভাই ৪৯২৮। সুতারাং তোমার দুই [ বিবাদমান ] ভাইএর মাঝে শান্তি স্থাপন দ্বারা পুনর্মিলন করে দাও। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যেনো তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ প্রাপ্ত হতে পার।
৪৯২৮। ইসলাম ধর্মে মুসলিম ভাতৃত্বের প্রতি বিশেষ গুরুত্ব আরোপ করা হয়েছে। বিদায় হজ্বে রাসুলুল্লাহ্র (সা) ভাষণের প্রধান বক্তব্যই ছিলো মুসলিম ভাতৃত্বের সংহতি। মুসলিম ভাতৃত্বের প্রতি আত্ম নিবেদন ব্যতীত ইসলামের প্রকৃত সৌন্দর্য অনুধাবন করা সম্ভব নয়।
