শয়তানরাই মানুষকে সৎপথে বাধা দান করে, আর মানুষ মনে করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allâh), but they think that they are guided aright!
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
Wa-innahum layasuddoonahum AAani alssabeeli wayahsaboona annahum muhtadoona
YUSUFALI: Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright!
PICKTHAL: And lo! they surely turn them from the way of Allah, and yet they deem that they are rightly guided;
SHAKIR: And most surely they turn them away from the path, and they think that they are guided aright:
KHALIFA: Such companions will divert them from the path, yet make them believe that they are guided.
৩৭। এ সব [শয়তানেরা ] তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বিরত রাখে ৪৬৩৯। কিন্তু তারা মনে করে যে, তারা সঠিক পথেই পরিচালিত হচ্ছে।
৪৬৩৯। পাপের পথ বড় পিচ্ছিল। শয়তান এই পথে মানুষকে পরিচালিত করে। কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় মানুষ তা অনুধাবন করতে পারে না। তাদের ধারণা জন্মে তারা সঠিক পথে এবং আল্লাহ্র রাস্তায় জীবন অতিবাহিত করছে। মন্দকেই তারা তাদের জীবনের জন্য কল্যাণকর মনে করে। এভাবেই ধীরে ধীরে ক্রমান্বয়ে শয়তানের ফাঁদে যত নিমজ্জিত হতে থাকে , তত তারা নির্মম থেকে নির্মমতর হয়ে পড়ে।
