অতঃপর মূসা যখন আমার কাছ থেকে সত্যসহ তাদের কাছে পৌঁছাল; তখন তারা বলল, যারা তার সঙ্গী হয়ে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা কর, আর তাদের নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখ। কাফেরদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থই হয়েছে।
Now, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, “Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females,” but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)!…
فَلَمَّا جَاءهُم بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاء الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءهُمْ وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ
Falamma jaahum bialhaqqi min AAindina qaloo oqtuloo abnaa allatheena amanoo maAAahu waistahyoo nisaahum wama kaydu alkafireena illa fee dalalin
YUSUFALI: Now, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, “Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females,” but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)!…
PICKTHAL: And when he brought them the Truth from Our presence, they said: Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and spare their women. But the plot of disbelievers is in naught but error.
SHAKIR: So when he brought to them the truth from Us, they said: Slay the sons of those who believe with him and keep their women alive; and the struggle of the unbelievers will only come to a state of perdition.
KHALIFA: And when he showed them the truth from us, they said, “Kill the sons of those who believed with him, and spare their daughters.” Thus, the scheming of the disbelievers is always wicked.
২৫। অতঃপর মুসা যখন আমার নিকট থেকে সত্য নিয়ে উহাদের নিকট উপস্থিত হলো ৪৩৯১। তারা বলেছিলো ,” যারা মুসার সাথে ঈমান এনেছে তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদের হত্যা কর এবং তাদের নারীদের জীবিত রাখ।” ৪৩৯২। কিন্তু অবিশ্বাসীদের [ শেষ ] পরিণাম ভুল [ এবং বিভ্রান্তি ] ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু নয়।
৪৩৯১। ২৪নং আয়াতে তিন ধরণের অবিশ্বাস কে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে , যারা আল্লাহ্র পরিবর্তে মিথ্যা উপাস্যের উপরে নির্ভরশীল , যার বিবরণ উপরের টিকাতেও দেয়া হয়েছে। এই আয়াতে [ ২৫ নং আয়াত] মুসার জন্মের সময়কার অবস্থা বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। এই আয়াতে “উহাদিগের ” এবং “তারা ” শব্দদ্বয় ফেরাউন ও তার সভাসদদের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। “মুসার সাথে যারা ঈমান এনেছে ” বাক্যটি কিছু শব্দ উহ্য রেখে গঠিত যার অর্থ দাঁড়ায় ইসরাঈলীদের পুত্র সন্তানদের হত্যা কর ; কারণ ভবিষ্যত আল্লাহ্র রসুল তাদের মধ্যেই জন্মগ্রহণ করবে। সুতারাং তাঁর সাথে সাথে তার সঙ্গে যারা জন্মগ্রহণ করবে তাদের সকলকে হত্যা করা।” আয়াত ২৬ নং হচ্ছে মুসার জীবনের বেশ কিছু বছর পরের ঘটনা তখন মুসা আল্লাহ্র নিকট থেকে দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছেন- ফেরাউনের সভায় হাজির হয়েছেন। সাধারণ মিশরবাসীদের মধ্যে অনেকেই মুসার প্রচারিত সত্যের প্রতি ঈমান আনার জন্য প্রস্তুত।
৪৩৯২। “তাদের নারীদিগকে জীবিত রাখ ” এখানে তাদের দ্বারা ইসরাঈলীদের বুঝানো হয়েছে , যারা ছিলো আল্লাহ্র ধর্মের অনুসারী।
