যখন সত্য তাদের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, এটা যাদু, আমরা একে মানি না।
And when the truth (this Qur’ân) came to them, they (the disbelievers in this Qur’ân) said: ”This is magic, and we disbelieve therein.”
وَلَمَّا جَاءهُمُ الْحَقُّ قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Walamma jaahumu alhaqqu qaloo hatha sihrun wa-inna bihi kafiroona
YUSUFALI: But when the Truth came to them, they said: “This is sorcery, and we do reject it.”
PICKTHAL: And now that the Truth hath come unto them they say: This is mere magic, and lo! we are disbelievers therein.
SHAKIR: And when there came to them the truth they said: This is magic, and surely we are disbelievers in it.
KHALIFA: When the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic, and we are disbelievers therein.”
৩০। কিন্তু যখন তাদের নিকট সত্যের [ কুর-আনের ] আগমন হলো , তারা বলেছিলো , ” এটা একটা যাদু , এবং আমরা তা প্রত্যাখান করি।” ৪৬৩৩
৪৬৩৩। পৌত্তলিক মক্কাবাসীরা রাসুলের [ সা ] প্রচারিত আল্লাহ্র বাণীর অপূর্ব ক্ষমতা ও শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব অনুভব করতে অক্ষম হয়। যার ফলে আল্লাহ্র বাণীর মোহনীয় প্রভাব যা মানুষকে সত্যপথে আকর্ষণ করে, তাকে তারা যাদুবিদ্যা বলে আখ্যায়িত করে।
