আমি তাদেরকে দান করলাম আমার অনুগ্রহ এবং তাদেরকে দিলাম সমুচ্চ সুখ্যাতি।
And We gave them of Our Mercy (a good provision in plenty), and We granted them honour on the tongues (of all the nations, i.e everybody remembers them with a good praise).
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا
Wawahabna lahum min rahmatina wajaAAalna lahum lisana sidqin AAaliyyan
YUSUFALI: And We bestowed of Our Mercy on them, and We granted them lofty honour on the tongue of truth.
PICKTHAL: And we gave them of Our mercy, and assigned to them a high and true renown.
SHAKIR: And We granted to them of Our mercy, and We left (behind them) a truthful mention of eminence for them.
KHALIFA: We showered them with our mercy, and we granted them an honorable position in history.
৫০। এবং তাদেরকে আমার অনুগ্রহ দান করলাম। সত্যের বাণীতে তাদের জন্য সুউচ্চ সম্মান মঞ্জুর করলাম ২৫০২।
২৫০২। ইব্রাহীম এবং তাঁর ছেলে ইসাহাক ও নাতি ইয়াকুব এবং তাঁদের বংশধরেরা পয়গম্বরদের আগমনের ধারা অব্যাহত রাখেন। তাঁর সকলেই সত্য প্রচারের পতাকা সমুন্নত রাখেন। এ সব নবী ও রাসুলেরা যুগ যুগ ধরে মানুষের সম্মান ও শ্রদ্ধার পাত্র, সত্যের উপাসক রূপে সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে পরিচিত। হযরত ইব্রাহীম আল্লাহ্র কাছে প্রার্থনা করেছিলেন যে, পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের মধ্যে যারা সত্য ধর্মে বিশ্বাসী তাদের দ্বারা তিনি যেনো প্রশংসিত হতে পারেন। দেখুন আয়াত [ ২৬ : ৮৪ ] যেখানেও হযরত ইব্রাহীম অনুরূপ প্রার্থনা করেন। আল্লাহ্ তাঁকে অনুগ্রহ ও যশ দানে ধন্য করেন।
