সে কি তোমাদেরকে এই ওয়াদা দেয় যে, তোমরা মারা গেলে এবং মৃত্তিকা ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হলে তোমাদেরকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করা হবে?
”Does he promise you that when you have died and have become dust and bones, you shall come out alive (resurrected)?
أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ
AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittum wakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakum mukhrajoona
YUSUFALI: “Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)?
PICKTHAL: Doth he promise you that you, when ye are dead and have become dust and bones, will (again) be brought forth?
SHAKIR: What! does he threaten you that when you are dead and become dust and bones that you shall then be brought forth?
KHALIFA: “Does he promise you that, after you die and turn into dust and bones, you will come out again?
৩৫। ” সে কি তোমাদের এই প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় যে, যখন তোমাদের মৃত্যু হবে এবং তোমরা মাটি ও হাড়ে পরিণত হবে, তোমাদের পুনরায় উত্থিত করা হবে ?
৩৬। ” অসম্ভব , তোমাদের যে বিষয়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছে তা অসম্ভব।
৩৭। ” এই পৃথিবীর জীবন ছাড়া অন্য কোন জীবন নাই। আমরা [ এখানেই ] মরি ও বাঁচি। সুতারাং আমরা কখনও পুনরায় উত্থিত হব না ২৮৯৬।
২৮৯৬। এই আয়াতে পরলোক সম্বন্ধে অবিশ্বাসীদের বিশ্বাসকে চিত্রিত করা হয়েছে। তাদের বক্তব্য হচ্ছে : “মৃত্যুর পরে কোনও জীবন নাই। পৃথিবীর জীবনই একমাত্র সত্য। জন্মমৃত্যু প্রাকৃতিক নিয়ম। সে হিসেবে মৃত্যুও সত্য। এর পরে আর কোনও জীবন নাই। কারণ তাদের আত্মিক অন্ধত্ব তাদেরকে পুনরুত্থানে বিশ্বাস করা থেকে বিরত রাখে।
