যে ব্যক্তি ভূল কিংবা গোনাহ করে, অতঃপর কোন নিরপরাধের উপর অপবাদ আরোপ করে সে নিজের মাথায় বহন করে জঘন্য মিথ্যা ও প্রকাশ্য গোনাহ।
And whoever earns a fault or a sin and then throws it on to someone innocent, he has indeed burdened himself with falsehood and a manifest sin.
وَمَن يَكْسِبْ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهِ بَرِيئًا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا
Waman yaksib khatee-atan aw ithman thumma yarmi bihi baree-an faqadi ihtamala buhtanan wa-ithman mubeenan
YUSUFALI: But if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, He carries (on himself) (Both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin.
PICKTHAL: And whoso committeth a delinquency or crime, then throweth (the blame) thereof upon the innocent, hath burdened himself with falsehood and a flagrant crime.
SHAKIR: And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.
KHALIFA: Anyone who earns a sin, then accuses an innocent person thereof, has committed a blasphemy and a gross offense.
