এবং অধীন করেছি শয়তানদের কতককে, যারা তার জন্যে ডুবুরীর কাজ করত এবং এ ছাড়া অন্য আরও অনেক কাজ করত। আমি তাদেরকে নিয়ন্ত্রন করে রাখতাম।
And of the Shayâtin (devils) (from the jinns) were some who dived for him, and did other work besides that; and it was We Who guarded them.
وَمِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ مَن يَغُوصُونَ لَهُ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَافِظِينَ
Wamina alshshayateeni man yaghoosoona lahu wayaAAmaloona AAamalan doona thalika wakunna lahum hafitheena
YUSUFALI: And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them.
PICKTHAL: And of the evil ones (subdued We unto him) some who dived (for pearls) for him and did other work, and We were warders unto them.
SHAKIR: And of the rebellious people there were those who dived for him and did other work besides that, and We kept guard over them;
KHALIFA: And of the devils there were those who would dive for him (to harvest the sea), or do whatever else he commanded them to do. We committed them in his service.
৮২। এবং কিছু মন্দ [ জ্বিন ] তার জন্য ডুবুরীর কাজ এবং এছাড়াও অন্যান্য কাজও করতো ২৭৩৮। আমিই তাদের পাহারা দিয়ে রাখতাম।
২৭৩৮। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন শক্তিকে হযরত সোলায়মানের বশীভূত করে দেয়া হয়েছিলো ; কিন্তু সকল শক্তির বা ক্ষমতার উৎস এক আল্লাহ্। আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহের ফলে সোলায়মান জ্বিনদের বশীভূত করেন।
