আমি তাঁকে ও লূতকে উদ্ধার করে সেই দেশে পৌঁছিয়ে দিলাম, যেখানে আমি বিশ্বের জন্যে কল্যাণ রেখেছি।
And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the ’Alamîn (mankind and jinns).
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Wanajjaynahu walootan ila al-ardi allatee barakna feeha lilAAalameena
YUSUFALI: But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations.
PICKTHAL: And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples.
SHAKIR: And We delivered him as well as Lut (removing them) to the land which We had blessed for all people.
KHALIFA: We saved him, and we saved Lot, to the land that we blessed for all the people.
৭১। আমি তাঁকে এবং [ তাঁর ভ্রাতুষ্পুত্র ] লূতকে উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে গেলাম সেই দেশে যেখানে আমি কল্যাণ রেখেছি বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য ২৭২৭।
২৭২৭। ‘আরাম ‘ [Aram] বা সিরিয়া , অনেকেই বৃহৎ অর্থে ক্যানন বা প্যালেসষ্টাইনকে এর অন্তর্ভূক্ত করে থাকে। সিরিয়া একটি শষ্য শ্যামল জলসিঞ্চিত উর্বর ভূমি। এর এক পার্শ্বের সীমারেখাতে ভূমধ্যসাগর, যেখানে তায়ের [ Tyre ] এবং সিডন [ Sidon ] নামক দুটি বাণিজ্যিক শহর অবস্থিত। সিরিয়ার জনসাধারণ বিভিন্ন জাতির মিশ্রণ, কারণ সেই প্রাচীন যুগ থেকে বিভিন্ন শতাব্দীতে পশ্চিম এশিয়া , মিশর , প্রভৃতি দেশের বড় বড় নৃপতির রাজত্বে, আবার অপর দিকে ইউরোপের বাণিজ্যিক স্বার্থে এ স্থান যুগে যুগে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। তার ফলে বিভিন্ন জাতির সংমিশ্রণ ঘটেছে।
