এবং সেই নারীর কথা আলোচনা করুন, যে তার কামপ্রবৃত্তিকে বশে রেখেছিল, অতঃপর আমি তার মধ্যে আমার রূহ ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাকে তার পুত্রকে বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য নিদর্শন করেছিলাম।
And (remember) she who guarded her chastity [Virgin Maryam (Mary)], We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) [through Our Rûh Jibrael (Gabriel)], and We made her and her son [’Iesa (Jesus)] a sign for Al-’Alamin (the mankind and jinns).
وَالَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَاهَا وَابْنَهَا آيَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
Waallatee ahsanat farjaha fanafakhna feeha min roohina wajaAAalnaha waibnaha ayatan lilAAalameena
YUSUFALI: And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.
PICKTHAL: And she who was chaste, therefor We breathed into her (something) of Our Spirit and made her and her son a token for (all) peoples.
SHAKIR: And she who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and made her and her son a sign for the nations.
KHALIFA: As for the one who maintained her virginity, we blew into her from our spirit, and thus, we made her and her son a portent for the whole world.
৯১। এবং [ স্মরণ কর ] সেই নারীকে যে তার সতীত্ব রক্ষা করেছিলো। আমি তাঁর মধ্য আমার রুহুকে ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং আমি তাঁকে ও তাঁর পুত্রকে বিশ্বাসীর জন্য করেছিলাম এক নিদর্শন ২৭৪৮।
২৭৪৮। মরিয়ম [ আ ] ছিলেন হযরত ঈসা [ আ ] এর মাতা। এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ্ বলছেন যে সতীত্ব ছিলো তাঁর বিশেষ গুণ। তিনি ছিলেন কুমারী মাতা। পিতা ব্যতীত সন্তানের জন্ম দান দ্বারা তিনি এবং তাঁর পুত্রকে আল্লাহ্ বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য করেছেন এক অলৌকিক নিদর্শন।
