বনী-ইসরাঈলদেরকে তাদের নবী আরো বললেন, তালূতের নেতৃত্বের চিহ্ন হলো এই যে, তোমাদের কাছে একটা সিন্দুক আসবে তোমাদের পালকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের মনের সন্তুষ্টির নিমিত্তে। আর তাতে থাকবে মূসা, হারুন এবং তাঁদের সন্তানবর্গের পরিত্যক্ত কিছু সামগ্রী। সিন্দুকটিকে বয়ে আনবে ফেরেশতারা। তোমরা যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক, তাহলে এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিশ্চিতই পরিপূর্ণ নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
And their Prophet (Samuel ) said to them: Verily! The sign of His Kingdom is that there shall come to you At-Tâbût (a wooden box), wherein is Sakinah (peace and reassurance) from your Lord and a remnant of that which Musâ (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron) left behind, carried by the angels. Verily, in this is a sign for you if you are indeed believers.
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نِبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna ayata mulkihi an ya/tiyakumu alttabootu feehi sakeenatun min rabbikum wabaqiyyatun mimma taraka alu moosa waalu haroona tahmiluhu almala-ikatu inna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena
YUSUFALI: And (further) their Prophet said to them: “A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith.”
PICKTHAL: And their Prophet said unto them: Lo! the token of his kingdom is that there shall come unto you the ark wherein is peace of reassurance from your Lord, and a remnant of that which the house of Moses and the house of Aaron left behind, the angels bearing it. Lo! herein shall be a token for you if (in truth) ye are believers.
SHAKIR: And the prophet said to them: Surely the sign of His kingdom is, that there shall come to you the chest in which there is tranquillity from your Lord and residue of the relics of what the children of Musa and the children of Haroun have left, the angels bearing it; most surely there is a sign in this for those who believe.
KHALIFA: Their prophet said to them, “The sign of his kingship is that the Ark of the Covenant will be restored to you, bringing assurances from your Lord, and relics left by the people of Moses and the people of Aaron. It will be carried by the angels. This should be a convincing sign for you, if you are really believers.”
২৪৮। [উপরন্তু] তাদের নবী বলেছিলো, ‘তাঁর কর্তৃত্বের নিদর্শন এই যে, মুসা ও হারুনের বংশধরগণ দ্বারা পরিত্যক্ত স্মারক ‘তাবুক’ ২৮১ তোমাদের নিকট ফেরত আসবে, যা তোমাদের প্রভুর নিকট থেকে নিরাপত্তার [আশ্বাস বাণী] স্বরূপ ২৮২। ফেরেশতারা তা বহন করে আনবে ২৮৩।’ যদি তোমাদের বিশ্বাস বা ঈমান প্রকৃত খাঁটি হয় তবে এর মধ্যে আছে প্রতীক [তোমাদের জন্য]।
২৮১। তাবুক বা ‘Ark of Covenant’- বা পবিত্র সিন্ধুক। এই সিন্ধুকটি ছিল আকাশিয়া কাঠের তৈরি। এর মাপ ছিল ৫’´৩’´৩’। এর পুরোটা সোনার পাত দ্বারা আবৃত [see Exad xxv ১০-১২] এর ভিতরে আল্লাহ্র কাছ থেকে হযরত মুসার পাওয়া আল্লাহ্র বাণীসমূহ সংরক্ষিত ছিল। অর্থাৎ হযরত মুসার পাওয়া পাথরের উপরে খোদাই করা আল্লাহ্র বাণী সমূহ সংরক্ষিত থাকতো। এই সিন্ধুকটি ছিল ইহুদীদের অত্যন্ত পবিত্র আমানত। পয়গম্বর স্যামুয়েলের জীবনের প্রথম ভাগে ইসরাঈলীরা এই পবিত্র সিন্ধুকটির অভিভাবকত্ব হারায় [টিকা ২৭৮ আয়াত ২:২৪৬] যখন এই সিন্ধুকটি পরিত্যক্ত হয়ে বিশ বছর সিন্ধুকটি একটি গ্রামে পতিত অবস্থায় পড়ে ছিল। পরে রাজতন্ত্র প্রতিষ্ঠার পরে সিন্ধুকটি রাজধানীতে আনা হয়। এই সিন্ধুকটি পরবর্তীতে একতা এবং শাসন ক্ষমতার প্রতীকরূপে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
[উপদেশঃ আল্লাহ্র বাণী অনুযায়ী জীবন যাপন করাই হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র প্রতি সর্বোচ্চ শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপন করা এবং তা হচ্ছে জীবনের সাফল্যের চাবিকাটি। তা না করে আল্লাহ্র বাণীকে বাক্সবন্দী করে রেখে, খুশীমত জীবন যাপন করা এবং আল্লাহ্র করুণার প্রত্যাশা করা মূর্খতা। আজকে মুসলিম সমাজে অনেকেই কুরআনের অর্থ না বুঝে কুরআন তেলওয়াত করে এবং শ্রদ্ধার সাথে ধর্মপুস্তক বাক্সবন্দী করে রাখে। কিন্তু বাস্তব জীবনে কুরআনের শিক্ষার কোনও প্রতিফলন নাই। ফলে মুসলমান সমাজ আল্লাহ্র করুণা থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে।]
২৮২। ‘Sakina’ ব নিরাপত্তা, শান্তি, প্রশান্তকারী। রাজা সোলাইমান যখন মসজিদ তৈয়ার করলেন সেখানে এই পবিত্র সিন্ধুকটি রক্ষিত ছিল এবং এই কথাটি ‘Sakina’-লেখা ছিল আল্লাহ্র মহিমার প্রতীক স্বরূপ।
২৮৩। “ফেরেশতারা ইহা বহন করিয়া আনিবে” – ইহা অর্থাৎ পবিত্র সিন্ধুকটি।
