পার্থিব জীবনের উপর কাফেরদিগকে উম্মত্ত করে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর তারা ঈমানদারদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে হাসাহাসি করে। পক্ষান্তরে যারা পরহেযগার তারা সেই কাফেরদের তুলনায় কেয়ামতের দিন অত্যন্ত উচ্চমর্যাদায় থাকবে। আর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সীমাহীন রুযী দান করেন।
Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allâh’s Orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allâh gives (of His Bounty, Blessings, Favours, Honours, etc. on the Day of Resurrection) to whom He wills without limit.
زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاللّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاء بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo alhayatu alddunya wayaskharoona mina allatheena amanoo waallatheena ittaqaw fawqahum yawma alqiyamati waAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin
YUSUFALI: The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.
PICKTHAL: Beautified is the life of the world for those who disbelieve; they make a jest of the believers. But those who keep their duty to Allah will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. Allah giveth without stint to whom He will.
SHAKIR: The life of this world is made to seem fair to those who disbelieve, and they mock those who believe, and those who guard (against evil) shall be above them on the day of resurrection; and Allah gives means of subsistence to whom he pleases without measure.
KHALIFA: This worldly life is adorned in the eyes of the disbelievers, and they ridicule those who believe. However, the righteous will be far above them on the Day of Resurrection. GOD blesses whomever He wills, without limits.
২১২। যারা ঈমানকে প্রত্যাখান করে তাদের জন্য পৃথিবীর এই জীবনকে মনোমুগ্ধকর করেছি। তারা বিশ্বাসীদের প্রতি ঘৃণা প্রকাশ করে। কিন্তু পুনরুত্থানের দিনে পূণ্যাত্মারা তাদের উর্ধ্বে অবস্থান করবে। আল্লাহ্ যাকে ইচ্ছা অপরিমিত প্রাচুর্য দান করেন ২৩৪।
২৩৪। এই আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে, অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রেই দুনিয়ার প্রতি আসক্তি হচ্ছে, সত্যের প্রতি, আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের প্রতি অনীহার প্রকৃত কারণ বলে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। যার নিদর্শন হলো ধর্মভীরুদের প্রতি অবজ্ঞা প্রদর্শন। মানুষের পক্ষে শুধুমাত্র পার্থিব জীবনের উন্নতিতে অহংকারী হওয়া উচিত নয়। কারণ আল্লাহ্ সবাইকে সমান রিযিক দান করেন না। আল্লাহ্ যাকে ইচ্ছা প্রচুর পরিমাণে দিয়ে থাকেন এবং দেখা যায় আমাদের ধারণায় যাদের পাওয়া উচিত নয়, তাদেরই অর্থবিত্ত বেশী। সময়ের বৃহত্তর পরিসরে, পৃথিবীর অগ্রযাত্রায়, আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা বোঝা আমাদের পক্ষে সম্ভব নয়। তাই যে কেউ আল্লাহ্র নেয়ামতের অধিকারী হলে, কেন তাকে সে নেয়ামত দেওয়া হলো তা বোঝার ক্ষমতা আমাদের নাই। তবে এটা নিশ্চিত যে, আল্লাহ্ যাকে যে নেয়ামত দিয়েছেন তার সদ্ব্যবহার সম্বন্ধে হিসাব নেবেন পরকালে। যেমন-আমরা দিন শেষে আমাদের ব্যবসায়ের হিসাব মিলাই।
