আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ বলে-হে পরওয়ারদেগার! আমাদিগকে দুনয়াতেও কল্যাণ দান কর এবং আখেরাতেও কল্যাণ দান কর এবং আমাদিগকে দোযখের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা কর।
And of them there are some who say: ”Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!”
وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhirati hasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari
YUSUFALI: And there are men who say: “Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!”
PICKTHAL: And of them (also) is he who saith: “Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire.”
SHAKIR: And there are some among them who say: Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.
KHALIFA: Others would say, “Our Lord, grant us righteousness in this world, and righteousness in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell.”
২০১। আবার তাদের মধ্যে অনেক লোক আছে যারা বলে, ‘হে আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের ইহকালে ও পরকালে কল্যাণ দান কর এবং আমাদের আগুনের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা কর।’
২০২। তারা যা অর্জন করেছে তা তাদেরই বণ্টন করা হবে ২২৫। বস্তুতঃ হিসাব গ্রহণে আল্লাহ্ অত্যন্ত তৎপর।
২২৫। আল্লাহ্র কাছে আমাদের সমস্ত কাজ কর্মের হিসাব পূণ্য এবং পাপের হিসাব অনুযায়ী জমা এবং খরচের খাতায় লেখা হয়ে যাচ্ছে। আর তা হচ্ছে মুহুর্তের মধ্যে। কারণ আল্লাহ্ আয়াতে [২:৯৫] বলেছেন যে, আমাদের কাজের হিসাব আমাদের মৃত্যুর বহু আগে তার দরবারে জমা হয়। আজকের কম্পিউটার যুগে দেখি পৃথিবীর একপ্রান্তের সংবাদ মুহূর্তের মধ্যে অন্য প্রান্তে চলে যায়। সুতরাং আমাদের হাত যা করে তার হিসাব মুহূর্তের মধ্যে আল্লাহ্র কাছে পৌঁছে যাবে তাতে অবাক হওয়ার কিছু নাই।
