অতএব আপনি সবর করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে যে শাস্তির ওয়াদা দেই, তার কিয়দংশ যদি আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই অথবা আপনার প্রাণ হরণ করে নেই, সর্বাবস্থায় তারা তো আমারই কাছে ফিরে আসবে।
So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return.
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ
Faisbir inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fa-imma nuriyannaka baAAda allathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilayna yurjaAAoona
YUSUFALI: So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return.
PICKTHAL: Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back.
SHAKIR: So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned.
KHALIFA: You shall be patient, for GOD’s promise is truth. Whether we show you some of (the retribution) we have promised for them, or terminate your life before that, they will be returned to us.
৭৭। অতএব তুমি ধৈর্যের সাথে অধ্যাবসায়ী হও; অবশ্যই আল্লাহ্র অঙ্গীকার সত্য। এবং আমি ওদের যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি তার কিছু যদি তোমাকে [এই জীবনেই ] দেখাই অথবা [ তার পূর্বেই ] তোমার মৃত্যু ঘটাই , [ এর যে কোনটাতেই ] তারা সকলেই আমার নিকট প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে ৪৪৫৩।
৪৪৫৩। দেখুন অনুরূপ আয়াত [ ১০ : ৪৬ ] ও টিকা ১৪৩৮। “ওদের” দ্বারা পাপী ও কাফেরদের বোঝানো হয়েছে। আল্লাহ্ পাপী, অন্যায়কারী ও কাফেরদের যে শাস্তির ব্যাপারে প্রতিশ্রুতি প্রদান করেছেন তা পূর্ণ হবেই। রসুলুল্লাহ্র [সা ] জীবদ্দশায় পাপিষ্ঠদের শাস্তি হোক বা না হোক , তাহাদের সকলকেই আল্লাহ্র দরবারে নীত করা হবে।
