পৃথিবীতে ঔদ্ধত্যের কারণে এবং কুচক্রের কারণে। কুচক্র কুচক্রীদেরকেই ঘিরে ধরে। তারা কেবল পূর্ববর্তীদের দশারই অপেক্ষা করছে। অতএব আপনি আল্লাহর বিধানে পরিবর্তন পাবেন না এবং আল্লাহর রীতি-নীতিতে কোন রকম বিচ্যুতিও পাবেন না।
(They took to flight because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it. Then, can they expect anything (else), but the Sunnah (way of dealing) of the peoples of old? So no change will you find in Allâh’s Sunnah (way of dealing), and no turning off will you find in Allâh’s Sunnah (way of dealing).
اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
Istikbaran fee al-ardi wamakra alssayyi-i wala yaheequ almakru alssayyi-o illa bi-ahlihi fahal yanthuroona illa sunnata al-awwaleena falan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tahweelan
YUSUFALI: On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah’s way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah’s way (of dealing).
PICKTHAL: (Shown in their) behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil; and the evil plot encloseth but the men who make it. Then, can they expect aught save the treatment of the folk of old? Thou wilt not find for Allah’s way of treatment any substitute, nor wilt thou find for Allah’s way of treatment aught of power to change.
SHAKIR: (In) behaving proudly in the land and in planning evil; and the evil plans shall not beset any save the authors of it. Then should they wait for aught except the way of the former people? For you shall not find any alteration in the course of Allah; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah.
KHALIFA: They resorted to arrogance on earth, and evil scheming, and the evil schemes only backfire on those who scheme them. Should they then expect anything but the fate of those who did the same things in the past? You will find that GOD’s system is never changeable; you will find that GOD’s system is immutable.
৪৩। কারণ ছিলো তাদের ঔদ্ধত্য এবং কূট ষড়যন্ত্র ৩৯৩৬। কিন্তু কূট ষড়যন্ত্র উহার সূচনাকারীদেরকেই পরিবেষ্টন করবে। তবে কি এখন ওরা পূর্ববর্তীদের সময় থেকে যে [ শাস্তির ] রীতি চলে আসছে তারই জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে মাত্র ? ৩৯৩৭। কিন্তু তুমি কখনও আল্লাহ্র নিয়মের কোন পরিবর্তন পাবে না ৩৯৩৮। আল্লাহ্র নিয়মকে বন্ধ হতেও দেখবে না।
৩৯৩৬। কেন পাপীরা সত্যকে প্রত্যাখান করে সে সম্বন্ধে এখানে দুটো কারণ উত্থাপন করা হয়েছে :
১) আধ্যাত্মিক ভাবে যারা মৃত তারা সাধারণ ভাবে হয় উদ্ধত অহংকারী এবং সত্য ও ন্যায়পরায়নতা , তাদের একটা ভান বই আর কিছু নয়। সুতারাং প্রকৃত সত্যকে তারা প্রত্যাখান করে থাকে।
২) পাপীরা সর্বদা আশা করে যে কূট ষড়যন্ত্র দ্বারা তারা সত্যের অগ্রগতিকে প্রতিহত করতে পারবে এবং সমূলে ধ্বংস করতে পারবে ; কিন্তু প্রকৃত পক্ষে তারা নিজের ফাঁদেই আটকা পড়ে যায় এবং সত্য অপ্রতিহত গতিতে নিজস্ব পথ করে নেয় ও অগ্রসর হয়।
৩৯৩৭। মানুষের ইতিহাস বলে , পাপীদের সাথে আল্লাহ্র আচরণ তিন ধাপে প্রকাশ পায় :
১) প্রথমতঃ প্রথমেই আল্লাহ্ পাপীদের শাস্তি দান করেন না, তিনি সহনশীল ও ক্ষমাশীল। তিনি তাদের সময় ও সুযোগ দান করে থাকেন সৎ পথে ফিরে আসার জন্য ।
২) দ্বিতীয়তঃ তিনি তাঁর রসুলদের মাধ্যমে অথবা নিদর্শনের মাধ্যমে অথবা প্রত্যাদেশের মাধ্যমে পাপীদের সাবধান করে থাকেন।
৩) যদিও এর পরেও পাপীরা একগুঁয়ে অবাধ্যভাবে সত্যকে প্রত্যাখান করতে থাকে, তবে আল্লাহ্র ন্যায় বিচার বজ্রের মত নেমে আসে এবং তারা শাস্তির সম্মুখীন হয়। যারা অন্যায়কারী তাদেরই জিজ্ঞাসা করা হয়েছে , ” তোমরা কি এই সকল ধাপের প্রতীক্ষা করছো ? নাকি অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমা লাভ করে ন্যায় ও সত্যের রাস্তায় জীবনকে পরিচালনা করবে ? ”
৩৯৩৮। আল্লাহ্র আইন অপরিবর্তনীয়। পাপীদের জন্য তার বিধান সর্বযুগে এক। মানুষের মনমানসিকতা পরিবর্তন হতে পারে . সে তার পথ পরিবর্তন করতে পারে , কিন্তু আল্লাহ্র হুকুম বা ইচ্ছা বা বিধানের কোনও পরিবর্তন নাই। কোনও কারণেই তার পরিবর্তন ঘটা সম্ভব নয়।
