এরা বলেঃ সে আমাদের কাছে তার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে কোন নিদর্শন আনয়ন করে না কেন? তাদের কাছে কি প্রমাণ আসেনি, যা পূর্ববর্তী গ্রন্থসমূহে আছে?
They say: ”Why does he not bring us a sign (proof) from his Lord?” Has there not come to them the proof of that which is (written) in the former papers [Scriptures, i.e. the Taurât (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel), etc. about the coming of the Prophet Muhammad SAW ].
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى
Waqaloo lawla ya/teena bi-ayatin min rabbihi awa lam ta/tihim bayyinatu ma fee alssuhufi al-oola
YUSUFALI: They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?
PICKTHAL: And they say: If only he would bring us a miracle from his Lord! Hath there not come unto them the proof of what is in the former scriptures?
SHAKIR: And they say: Why does he not bring to us a sign from his Lord? Has not there come to them a clear evidence of what is m the previous books?
KHALIFA: They said, “If he could only show us a miracle from his Lord!” Did they not receive sufficient miracles with the previous messages?
১৩৩। তারা বলে, ” সে তাঁর প্রভুর নিকট থেকে কেন আমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন আনে না ?” ২৬৫৮। পূর্ববর্তী কিতাব সমূহের মাধ্যমে তাদের নিকট কি সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন আসে নাই?
২৬৫৮। অবিশ্বাসীদের শঠতাপূর্ণ ধূর্ত মানসিকতার দিকে এখানে ইঙ্গিত করা হয়েছে। কোরাণ স্বয়ং স্রষ্টার সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন ও প্রমাণ। যারা পূর্ববর্তী ধর্মগ্রন্থে বিশ্বাসী , তারা তাদের ধর্ম গ্রন্থেই সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ পেয়েছে যা তাওরাত, ইঞ্জিল ইত্যাদি। আল্লাহ্র কিতাবে সব কালেই শেষ নবী হযরত মুহম্মদ [সা] এর নবুয়ত ও রেসালাতের সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছে তার পরেও অবিশ্বাসীরা কিভাবে কৌশল অবলম্বন করে ?
