অতঃপর আমি বললামঃ হে আদম, এ তোমার ও তোমার স্ত্রীর শত্রু, সুতরাং সে যেন বের করে না দেয় তোমাদের জান্নাত থেকে। তাহলে তোমরা কষ্টে পতিত হবে।
Then We said: ”O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that you be distressed in misery.
فَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ هَذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَى
Faqulna ya adamu inna hatha AAaduwwun laka walizawjika fala yukhrijannakuma mina aljannati fatashqa
YUSUFALI: Then We said: “O Adam! verily, this is an enemy to thee and thy wife: so let him not get you both out of the Garden, so that thou art landed in misery.
PICKTHAL: Therefor we said: O Adam! This is an enemy unto thee and unto thy wife, so let him not drive you both out of the Garden so that thou come to toil.
SHAKIR: So We said: O Adam! This is an enemy to you and to your wife; therefore let him not drive you both forth from the garden so that you should be unhappy;
KHALIFA: We then said, “O Adam, this is an enemy of you and your wife. Do not let him evict you from Paradise, lest you become miserable.
রুকু – ৭
১১৬। যখন আমি ফেরেশতাদের বলেছিলাম,” আদমকে সেজ্দা কর।” তারা [ সকলেই ] সেজ্দা করলো , কিন্তু ইব্লীস করলো না। সে অস্বীকার করলো।
১১৭। অতঃপর আমি বললাম, ” হে আদম ! অবশ্যই সে তোমার ও তোমার স্ত্রীর শত্রু। সুতারাং তোমাদের জান্নাত থেকে বের করে দিতে তাকে [ প্রশয় ] দিও না। তাহলে তোমরা দুঃখ কষ্টের মাঝে নিপতিত হবে ২৬৪১।
২৬৪১। উপরের টিকাতে দ্রষ্টব্য। হযরত আদমের কাহিনীর মাধ্যমে আমাদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করা হয়েছে মানুষের স্বাভাবিক দুর্বলতার প্রতি। সাধারণ মানুষ লোভের বশবর্তী হয়ে খুব সহজেই শয়তানের খপ্পরে নিজেকে সমর্পন করে। যদিও তাঁকে পূর্বে সাবধান করা হয়ে থাকে কিন্তু লোভ-লালসার সর্বগ্রাসী ক্ষুধা তাকে সঠিক পথে চলতে বাঁধার সৃষ্টি করে। সে শয়তানের নিকট আত্মসমর্পন করে।
