এমনিভাবে আমি তাকে প্রতিফল দেব, যে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে এবং পালনকর্তার কথায় বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না করে। তার পরকালের শাস্তি কঠোরতর এবং অনেক স্থায়ী।
And thus do We requite him who transgresses beyond bounds [i.e. commits the great sins and disobeys his Lord (Allâh) and believes not in His Messengers, and His revealed Books, like this Qur’ân, etc.], and believes not in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, and the torment of the Hereafter is far more severe and more lasting.
وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَى
Wakathalika najzee man asrafa walam yu/min bi-ayati rabbihi walaAAathabu al-akhirati ashaddu waabqa
YUSUFALI: And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring.
PICKTHAL: Thus do We reward him who is prodigal and believeth not the revelations of his Lord; and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be sterner and more lasting.
SHAKIR: And thus do We recompense him who is extravagant and does not believe in the communications of his Lord, and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is severer and more
KHALIFA: We thus requite those who transgress and refuse to believe in the revelations of their Lord. The retribution in the Hereafter is far worse and everlasting.
১২৭। যে সীমালংঘন করে ও তার প্রতিপালকের নিদর্শনে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না, এভাবেই আমি তাকে প্রতিফল দেই। এবং পরলোকের শাস্তি হবে আরও ভয়াবহ এবং অধিক স্থায়ী ২৬৫১।
২৬৫১। এই পৃথিবীর জীবন পরকালের জীবনের শিক্ষানবীশকাল মাত্র। পৃথিবীতে আত্মার যে অভিজ্ঞতা তাই সে পরলোকে বহন করে নিয়ে যাবে। উপরের আয়াতগুলির মাধ্যমে এ কথারই সত্যতাকে বিবৃত করা হয়েছে। যে ইহকালে আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শনের প্রতি অন্ধ সে পরকালেও অন্ধরূপেই স্রষ্টার নিকট নীত হবে। আর সে অন্ধত্ব হবে “কঠিনতর এবং অধিক স্থায়ী “। “অধিক স্থায়ী “। এই বাক্যটির অর্থ ইহকালের জীবন ক্ষণস্থায়ী। নির্দ্দিষ্ট মেয়াদান্তে তার সমাপ্তি ঘটে। সুতারাং পার্থিব জীবনের চক্ষুহীনতা বা অন্ধত্বও ক্ষণস্থায়ী। সে তুলনায় পরলোকের জীবন অনন্ত ও সীমাহীন। সেই সীমাহীন জীবনের সীমাহীন অন্ধত্ব অবশ্যই কঠিনতর হবে।
