কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকিয়ে নেয়া হবে। তারা যখন সেখানে পৌছাবে, তখন তার দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আসেনি, যারা তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করত এবং সতর্ক করত এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা, কিন্তু কাফেরদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুমই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, “Did not apostles come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?” The answer will be: “True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!”
وَسِيقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا حَتَّى إِذَا جَاؤُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاء يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا قَالُوا بَلَى وَلَكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
Waseeqa allatheena kafaroo ila jahannama zumaran hatta itha jaooha futihat abwabuha waqala lahum khazanatuha alam ya/tikum rusulun minkum yatloona AAalaykum ayati rabbikum wayunthiroonakum liqaa yawmikum hatha qaloo bala walakin haqqat kalimatu alAAathabi AAala alkafireena
YUSUFALI: The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, “Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?” The answer will be: “True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!”
PICKTHAL: And those who disbelieve are driven unto hell in troops till, when they reach it and the gates thereof are opened, and the warders thereof say unto them: Came there not unto you messengers of your own, reciting unto you the revelations of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this your Day? they say: Yea, verily. But the word of doom of disbelievers is fulfilled.
SHAKIR: And those who disbelieve shall be driven to hell in companies; until, when they come to it, its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Did not there come to you messengers from among you reciting to you the communications of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: Yea! But the sentence of punishment was due against the unbelievers.
KHALIFA: Those who disbelieved will be led to Hell in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, “Did you not receive messengers from among you, who recited to you the revelations of your Lord, and warned you about meeting this day?” They will answer, “Yes indeed. But the word `retribution’ was already stamped upon the disbelievers.”

৭১। অবিশ্বাসীদের দলে দলে জাহান্নামের দিকে পরিচালিত করা হবে ৪৩৪৭। যতক্ষণ না তারা উহার নিকটে উপস্থিত হবে, [ তখন ] উহার প্রবেশদ্বারগুলি খুলে দেয়া হবে। এবং উহার রক্ষীরা বলবে ৪৩৪৮ , ” তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের নিকট কি রাসুল আসে নাই , যারা তোমাদের নিকট তোমাদের প্রভুর আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করতো , এবং এই দিনের সাক্ষাত সম্বন্ধে তোমাদের সর্তক করে দিত ? ” উত্তর হবে, “হ্যাঁ, [ এসেছিলো ]” ; বস্তুত অবিশ্বাসীদের প্রতি শাস্তির কথা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে। ” ৪৩৪৯
৪৩৪৭। দলে দলে বা যুমার এই শব্দটি থেকে সূরাটির নামকরণ করা হয়েছে। আত্মার গহীনে ডুব দিয়ে প্রতিটি আত্মাকে অনুসন্ধান করতে বলা হয়েছে প্রকৃত সত্যের। যদি কেউ প্রকৃত সত্যের সন্ধান লাভ না করে, আত্মার মাঝে সত্যের বন্ধনকে দৃঢ় না করে ; আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাসে দৃঢ় প্রত্যয় উৎপন্ন না করে , তবে সে আত্মা হবে বিভ্রান্ত দিগ্ভ্রান্ত। এদেরকে শেষ বিচারের দিনে জনসাধারণের ভীড় বা দলে দলে জনসাধারণ বলা হয়েছে।
৪৩৪৮। “জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা ” – সম্ভবতঃ এরা হচ্ছেন ফেরেশতা যারা পৃথিবীতে মানুষের অন্যায় ও পাপ কাজ সম্বন্ধে কোনও ধারণাই রাখেন না। সুতারাং তারা এই বিশাল জনগোষ্ঠির জাহান্নামের দিকে আগমন দেখে আশ্চর্যান্বিত হয়ে পড়বেন।
৪৩৪৯। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১০ : ৩৩ ]। সম্ভবতঃ উত্তরটি ছিলো অপর ফেরেশতার। হ্যাঁ ; তাদের নিকটও আল্লাহ্ তাঁর দূতদের প্রেরণ করেছিলেন। নবী রসুলেরা তাদের সাবধান করেছেন , তাদের মাঝে আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশকে প্রচার করেছেন ; অনুতাপ ও আত্মসংশোধনের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমা প্রার্থনার উপদেশ দিয়েছেন। যেহেতু তারা এ সবের কিছুতেই কর্ণপাত করে নাই সুতারাং এখন পূর্বনির্ধারিত শাস্তি তাদের উপরে নিপতিত হয়েছে। কারণ তারা ছিলো বিদ্রোহী এবং উদ্ধত। তারা সত্যকে প্রতিহত করেছে , বিশ্বাসকে অবিশ্বাস দ্বারা দমিত করেছে এবং আল্লাহ্র করুণাকে অবহেলা করেছে।”
