অতঃপর তাদের কথাবার্তা বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে এবং তারা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করতে পারবে না।
Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another.
فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَنبَاء يَوْمَئِذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَاءلُونَ
FaAAamiyat AAalayhimu al-anbao yawma-ithin fahum la yatasaaloona
YUSUFALI: Then the (whole) story that Day will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind) and they will not be able (even) to question each other.
PICKTHAL: On that day (all) tidings will be dimmed for them, nor will they ask one of another,
SHAKIR: Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other.
KHALIFA: They will be so stunned by the facts on that day, they will be speechless.
৬৬। সেদিন সকল তথ্য তাদের সম্মুখে অস্পষ্ট হয়ে পড়বে। [ এমনকি ] তারা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসাও করতে সক্ষম হবে না ৩৩৯৬।
৩৩৯৬। ঘটনার প্রচন্ডতায় তাদের মন হতবিহ্বল, বিভ্রান্ত ও হতাশ হয়ে পড়বে। অতীত তাদের কাছে মনে হবে অবাস্তব স্বপ্ন , বর্তমানকে মনে হবে তাদের বুদ্ধির অগম্য। এমনকি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আনীত অভিযোগের উত্তর দানের জন্য পরস্পরের মধ্যে আলোচনা করার ক্ষমতাও তাদের থাকবে না। কারণ প্রত্যেকের মানসিক অবস্থা হবে একই প্রকার।
