তোমাদের সন্তান-সন্ততিরা যখন বায়োপ্রাপ্ত হয়, তারাও যেন তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের ন্যায় অনুমতি চায়। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ তোমাদের কাছে বর্ণনা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
And when the children among you come to puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission, as those senior to them (in age). Thus Allâh makes clear His Ayât (Commandments and legal obligations) for you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْأَطْفَالُ مِنكُمُ الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنُوا كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Wa-itha balagha al-atfalu minkumu alhuluma falyasta/thinoo kama ista/thana allatheena min qablihim kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun
YUSUFALI: But when the children among you come of age, let them (also) ask for permission, as do those senior to them (in age): Thus does Allah make clear His Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
PICKTHAL: And when the children among you come to puberty then let them ask leave even as those before them used to ask it. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise.
SHAKIR: And when the children among you have attained to puberty, let them seek permission as those before them sought permission; thus does Allah make clear to you His communications, and Allah is knowing, Wise.
KHALIFA: Once the children reach puberty, they must ask permission (before entering) like those who became adults before them have asked permission (before entering). GOD thus clarifies His revelations for you. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.
৫৯। আর তোমাদের শিশুরা যখন বয়ঃপ্রাপ্ত হয় ৩০৩৭ তারাও যেনো, অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে, যেমন ভাবে তাদের বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠগণ করে থাকে ৩০৩৮। এ ভাবেই আল্লাহ্ তার নির্দ্দেশ সমূহ সুস্পষ্টভাবে তোমাদের জন্য বিবৃত করেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞায় পরিপূর্ণ ৩০৩৯।
৩০৩৭। ” তোমাদের শিশুরা ” এ বাক্যটির অর্থ শুধু মাত্র নিজস্ব সন্তান সন্ততি নয়। এ বাক্যটির অর্থ নিজ বাড়ীর বা জ্ঞাতিগোষ্ঠির বা পাড়া প্রতিবেশীর সন্তান সন্ততি।
৩০৩৮। “এখানে বয়ঃজ্যেষ্ঠ ” বাক্যটি দ্বারা বুঝানো হয়েছে তাদের যারা পূর্বে বয়ঃপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে , যাদের কথা পূর্বের আয়াতে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। মূল বক্তব্য হচ্ছে নূতন প্রজন্ম যখন বড় হয়ে উঠবে ,তারা বয়জ্যেষ্ঠদের রীতিনীতি অনুসরণ করবে। শিশুদের শিশুর মত ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং শিশুরা বয়ঃপ্রাপ্ত হলে তারা তাদের বয়স অনুযায়ী ব্যবহার করবে।
৩০৩৯। ” এই ভাবে আল্লাহ্ ………….. আল্লাহ্ জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞায় পরিপূর্ণ।” ঠিক এই লাইনটি পূর্বের আয়াতেও বিদ্যমান। পার্থক্য শুধু পূর্বের আয়াতের ” তোমাদের নিকট ” শব্দটি এখানে পরিবর্তন করে ” তোমাদের জন্য ” শব্দটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। এই আয়াতের শব্দটির জন্য এর অর্থ অধিক ব্যক্তিগত ভাবের প্রকাশ ঘটেছে।
