আর অবশ্যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ করতে দেই, অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ্ন হয়।
And if We give man a taste of Mercy from Us, and then withdraw it from him, verily! He is despairing, ungrateful.

وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا الإِنْسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُ لَيَئُوسٌ كَفُورٌ
Wala-in athaqna al-insana minna rahmatan thumma nazaAAnaha minhu innahu layaoosun kafoorun

YUSUFALI: If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy.
PICKTHAL: And if we cause man to taste some mercy from Us and afterward withdraw it from him, lo! he is despairing, thankless.
SHAKIR: And if We make man taste mercy from Us, then take it off from him, most surely he is despairing, ungrateful.
KHALIFA: Whenever we bless the human being with mercy from us, then remove it, he turns despondent, unappreciative.
