যারা সৎপথে চলে আল্লাহ তাদের পথপ্রাপ্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং স্থায়ী সৎকর্মসমূহ তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সওয়াবের দিক দিয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবেও শ্রেষ্ট।
And Allâh increases in guidance those who walk aright [true believers in the Oneness of Allâh who fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort.
وَيَزِيدُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا هُدًى وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَّرَدًّا
Wayazeedu Allahu allatheena ihtadaw hudan waalbaqiyatu alssalihatu khayrun AAinda rabbika thawaban wakhayrun maraddan
YUSUFALI: “And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return.”
PICKTHAL: Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord’s sight for reward, and better for resort.
SHAKIR: And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit.
KHALIFA: GOD augments the guidance of those who choose to be guided. For the good deeds are eternally rewarded by your Lord, and bring far better returns.
৭৬। যারা পথের ঠিকানা অনুসন্ধান করে, আল্লাহ্ তাদের হেদায়েতের পথে অগ্রসর করান। যা [ শেষ পর্যন্ত ] টিকে থাকে তা হচ্ছে সৎ কাজ। যা পুরষ্কার লাভের জন্য এবং প্রতিদান হিসেবে আল্লাহ্র দৃষ্টিতে সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট ২৫২১।
২৫২১। ” যা শেষ পর্যন্ত টিকে থাকে তা হচ্ছে সৎ কাজ ” – এই লাইনটি সূরা [ ১৮ : ৪৬ ] আয়াতের শেষার্ধে উল্লেখ আছে, শুধুমাত্র “প্রতিদান (maradd)চ্ শব্দটির স্থানে [ ১৮ : ৪৬ ] আয়াতে ” আশা আকাঙ্খা (amal)” শব্দটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। দুটি ক্ষেত্রেই এর জন্য অর্থের খুব একটা তারতম্য ঘটে নাই। যেখানে পার্থিব সম্পদের আকাঙ্খার সাথে চাওয়া পাওয়াকে সমন্বিত করা হয়েছে সেখানে ” আশা-আকাঙ্খা” শব্দটি অধিক প্রযোজ্য। আবার যেখানে মর্যদা ও পাপীদের পার্থিব বিনিয়োগ যা সম্পদ ও ক্ষমতা লাভের কুটিল ষড়যন্ত্র, সেখানে ” প্রতিদান” শব্দটি অধিক প্রযোজ্য।
