যখন মানুষকে দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে একাগ্রচিত্তে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডাকে, অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাকে নেয়ামত দান করেন, তখন সে কষ্টের কথা বিস্মৃত হয়ে যায়, যার জন্যে পূর্বে ডেকেছিল এবং আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ স্থির করে; যাতে করে অপরকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে। বলুন, তুমি তোমার কুফর সহকারে কিছুকাল জীবনোপভোগ করে নাও। নিশ্চয় তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
When some trouble toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestoweth a favour upon him as from Himself, (man) doth forget what he cried and prayed for before, and he doth set up rivals unto Allah, thus misleading others from Allah.s Path. Say, “Enjoy thy blasphemy for a little while: verily thou art (one) of the Companions of the Fire!”
وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ
Wa-itha massa al-insana durrun daAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma itha khawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAoo ilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudilla AAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min as-habi alnnari

PICKTHAL: And when some hurt toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning unto Him (repentant). Then, when He granteth him a boon from Him he forgetteth that for which he cried unto Him before, and setteth up rivals to Allah that he may beguile (men) from his way. Say (O Muhammad, unto such an one): Take pleasure in thy disbelief a while. Lo! thou art of the owners of the Fire.
SHAKIR: And when distress afflicts a man he calls upon his Lord turning to Him frequently; then when He makes him possess a favor from Him, he forgets that for which he called upon Him before, and sets up rivals to Allah that he may cause (men) to stray off from His path. Say: Enjoy yourself in your ungratefulness a little, surely you are of the inmates of the fire.
KHALIFA: When the human being is afflicted, he implores his Lord, sincerely devoted to Him. But as soon as He blesses him, he forgets his previous imploring, sets up idols to rank with GOD and to divert others from His path. Say, “Enjoy your disbelief temporarily; you have incurred the hellfire.”
০৮। যখন কোন বির্পযয় মানুষকে স্পর্শ করে ৪২৫৬ তখন সে একনিষ্ঠভাবে অনুতপ্ত হৃদয়ে তার প্রভুকে আহ্বান করে। কিন্তু যখন তিনি তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দান করেন , তখন পূর্বে যে জন্য তাঁর নিকট কাঁদাকাটি করেছিলো এবং প্রার্থনা করেছিলো [ মানুষ ] তা ভুলে যায়। এবং সে আল্লাহ্র প্রতিন্দ্বন্দী দাঁড় করায়। এভাবেই সে অন্যকে আল্লাহ্র রাস্তা থেকে বিপথগামী করে। বল : ” কুফরীর জীবন ক্ষণকাল উপভোগ কর। বস্তুত তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্যতম।” ৪২৫৭
৪২৫৬। দেখুন সূরা [ ১০ : ১২ ] আয়াত। মানুষ বড় অকৃতজ্ঞ জীব, যখন দুঃখ , বিপর্যয়ের অমানিশা তার সর্বসত্তাকে গ্রাসে উদ্যোক্ত হয় ,তখন নিরূপায় মানুষ ঐকান্তিক ভাবে সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্র আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করে। কিন্তু যে মূহুর্তে আল্লাহ্ তাকে অনুগ্রহ করেন সে আল্লাহকে বিস্মৃত হয়। সে অনুধাবনে অক্ষম হয় জীবনের সেই শিক্ষা যা আল্লাহ্ তাকে বিপদ বিপর্যয়ের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা দিতে চেয়েছেন। ফলে সে আল্লাহকে ভুলে যায়। ভুলে যায় বিপদ বিপর্যয় দূর করার ক্ষমতা একমাত্র আল্লাহ্র হাতে। ফলে সে আল্লাহ্র পরিবর্তে অন্য কিছুকে তার ত্রাণকর্তারূপে অভিহিত করে। সেগুলি বিশেষতঃ নিম্নরূপ : নিজস্ব কৃতিত্ব অথবা মাজার, তাবিজ, কবজ অথবা প্রাকৃতিক শক্তি অথবা পীরবাবা যাকে সে আল্লাহ্র ন্যায় শক্তিশালী মনে করে। এ কথা সে ভুলে যায় যে, সকল শক্তির উৎস আল্লাহ্। আল্লাহ্র শক্তির সাথে অন্য যে কোনও কিছুর অংশীদারিত্ব মহাপাপ। এই পাপ শুধু যে তারই ক্ষতি করে তাই নয় , লক্ষ লক্ষ অজ্ঞ লোক তার দ্বারা অনুপ্রাণীত হয়। যার ফলে দেখা যায় ভন্ডপীরের প্রভাব ও প্রতিপত্তি।
৪২৫৭। দেখা যায় যারা পাপ করে এবং অন্যকে পাপ কাজে উদ্বুদ্ধ করে তাদের পার্থিব জীবন হয় অর্থসম্পদে, খ্যাতি ও যশে সমৃদ্ধ। তাদের এই সফলতা খুবই ক্ষণস্থায়ী।কারণ পৃথিবীর জীবন খুবই সংক্ষিপ্ত জীবন। তাদের পাপ তাদের পরলোকের জীবনে জাহান্নামের দিকে আহ্বান করে।
