হে বৎস, নামায কায়েম কর, সৎকাজে আদেশ দাও, মন্দকাজে নিষেধ কর এবং বিপদাপদে সবর কর। নিশ্চয় এটা সাহসিকতার কাজ।
”O my son! AqimisSalât (perform AsSalât), enjoin (people) for AlMa’rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from AlMunkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allâh with no exemption.
يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
Ya bunayya aqimi alssalata wa/mur bialmaAAroofi wainha AAani almunkari waisbir AAala ma asabaka inna thalika min AAazmi al-omoori
YUSUFALI: “O my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just, and forbid what is wrong: and bear with patient constancy whatever betide thee; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs.
PICKTHAL: O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity, and persevere whatever may befall thee. Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things.
SHAKIR: O my son! keep up prayer and enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and bear patiently that which befalls you; surely these acts require courage;
KHALIFA: “O my son, you shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat). You shall advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and remain steadfast in the face of adversity. These are the most honorable traits.
১৭। ” হে বৎস ! সালাত প্রতিষ্ঠিত করো, ন্যায় কাজের আদেশ করো, এবং অন্যায় কাজকে নিষেধ করো। তোমার প্রতি যে [বিপদই ] ঘটুক না কেন, ধৈর্য্য ও দৃঢ়তার সাথে মোকাবিলা করবে। নিশ্চয়ই তা হবে কার্য [পরিচালনার উদ্দেশ্যের ] দৃঢ়সংকল্প।
১৮।” [ অহংকারে ] তুমি মানুষকে অবজ্ঞা করো না ৩৬০৩। পৃথিবীতে দম্ভভরে বিচরণ করো না। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ উদ্ধত অহংকারীকে পছন্দ করেন না।
৩৬০৩। নিজের সম্পর্কে স্পষ্ট ধারণা হচ্ছে আত্মবিশ্বাস তা অহংকার পর্যায়ে পড়ে না। কিন্তু যখনই নিজস্ব কোনও গুণ বা গরিমার জন্য অন্যকে ছোট করে দেখার প্রবণতা জন্মে , তখনই তা অহংকারের পর্যায়ে পড়ে এবং তা পাপ। আল্লাহ্ উদ্ধত অহংকারীকে পছন্দ করেন না।
