না আপনি তাদের কাছে কোন প্রতিদান চান? আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রতিদান উত্তম এবং তিনিই রিযিকদাতা।
Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance.
أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ خَرْجًا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Am tas-aluhum kharjan fakharaju rabbika khayrun wahuwa khayru alrraziqeena
YUSUFALI: Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance.
PICKTHAL: Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision.
SHAKIR: Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance.
KHALIFA: Are you asking them for a wage? Your Lord’s wage is far better. He is the best Provider.
৭২। অথবা তুমি কি তাদের নিকট প্রতিদান চাও ? কিন্তু তোমার প্রভুর প্রতিদানই শ্রেষ্ঠ। তিনিই শ্রেষ্ঠ জীবনোপকরণ দাতা ২৯২০।
২৯২০। আয়াত [ ২৩ : ৬৮ ] হতে যে প্রশ্ন ধারার আরম্ভ হয়েছে তা শেষ হয়েছে এই আয়াতে। অবিশ্বাসীদের অযৌক্তিক প্রশ্নগুলিকে এ ভাবে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে ; ১) মানুষের ইতিহাস যতদিনের পুরানো , আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশও ততদিনের পুরানো তবে কেন তারা তা অনুধাবন করে না [ ২৩ : ৬৮ ]। ২) তারা তাদের রসুলকে সত্যবাদী ও পূণ্যাত্মারূপে চেনে।তবে কেন তারা তার প্রচারিত সত্যকে অস্বীকার করে [ ২৩ : ৬৯ ] ৩) সত্যকে প্রচার করা কি উন্মত্ততার লক্ষণ যে তারা তাঁকে উম্মাদ বলে [ ২৩ : ৭০] ? ৪) রসুল [সা] কি সত্য প্রচারের বিনিময়ে কোনও পার্থিব পারিশ্রমিক দাবী করেন [২৩ : ৭২]। তবে কেন তারা সত্য বিমুখ। সত্যকে গ্রহণ করে না?
