অবশেষে যখন আমি তাদের জন্য কঠিন শাস্তির দ্বার খুলে দেব, তখন তাতে তাদের আশা ভঙ্গ হবে।
Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair.
حَتَّى إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
Hatta itha fatahna AAalayhim baban tha AAathabin shadeedin itha hum feehi mublisoona
YUSUFALI: Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein!
PICKTHAL: Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat.
SHAKIR: Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it.
KHALIFA: Subsequently, when we requited them with the severe retribution they had incurred, they were shocked.
৭৭। যতক্ষণ না আমি তাদের সম্মুখে ভয়াবহ শাস্তির দ্বার উম্মুক্ত করি। দেখো ! তারা তখন হতাশার মাঝে নিমজ্জিত হয় ২৯২৩।
২৯২৩। দেখুন [ ৬ : ৪৪ ] আয়াত। আল্লাহ্ মানুষকে দুঃখ-বিপদ ও বিপর্যয়ের পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে বান্দাকে তাঁর রাস্তায় ফিরিয়ে আনার প্রয়াস পান। দুঃখ বিপর্যয় পূণ্যাত্মাদের সাহস, ধৈর্য্য, অধ্যাবসায়, ও মনোবল বৃদ্ধি করে , কারণ সর্ব দুঃখ বিপর্যয়ে তাঁরা আল্লাহ্র উপরে নির্ভরশীল। আর সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্ অপেক্ষা বড় রক্ষাকারী আর কে আছে ? অপরপক্ষে দুঃখ বিপর্যয় পাপীদের হতাশায় নিক্ষিপ্ত করে। পরলোকে যখন তারা তাদের বিচারের রায় পেয়ে যাবে তখন প্রচন্ড হতাশা তাদের ঘিরে ধরবে কারণ তখন আর অনুতাপের মাধ্যমে সংশোধনের কোনও সময় থাকবে না।
