তাদের কাছে তাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যখনই কোন নতুন উপদেশ আসে, তারা তা খেলার ছলে শ্রবণ করে।
Comes not unto them an admonition (a chapter of the Qur’ân) from their Lord as a recent revelation but they listen to it while they play,
مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مَّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
Ma ya/teehim min thikrin min rabbihim muhdathin illa istamaAAoohu wahum yalAAaboona
YUSUFALI: Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest,-
PICKTHAL: Never cometh there unto them a new reminder from their Lord but they listen to it while they play,
SHAKIR: There comes not to them a new reminder from their Lord but they hear it while they sport,
KHALIFA: When a proof comes to them from their Lord, that is new, they listen to it heedlessly.
০২। যখনই তাদের প্রভুর নিকট থেকে তাঁর বাণী নবায়ন হয়ে আসে , তারা তা কৌতুকচ্ছলে শোনে ২৬৬৩।
২৬৬৩। আল্লাহ্ তাঁর বিধানকে যুগোপযোগী করার জন্য যুগে যুগে নবী ও রসুলদের পাঠিয়েছেন। কিন্তু যখনই কোন নূতন নিদর্শন প্রেরিত হয়, তখন তারা একে কৌতুক ও হাস্য উপহাসচ্ছলে গ্রহণ করে পরবর্তীতে যা শত্রুতাতে পরিণত হয়।
