যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আসমান ও যমীন কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে-আল্লাহ। বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি আল্লাহ আমার অনিষ্ট করার ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে ডাক, তারা কি সে অনিষ্ট দূর করতে পারবে? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করলে তারা কি সে রহমত রোধ করতে পারবে? বলুন, আমার পক্ষে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। নির্ভরকারীরা তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করে।
If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, “(Allah)”. Say: “See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?” Say: “Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust.”
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلْ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَاشِفَاتُ ضُرِّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَاتُ رَحْمَتِهِ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
Wala-in saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waal-arda layaqoolunna Allahu qul afaraaytum ma tadAAoona min dooni Allahi in aradaniya Allahu bidurrin hal hunna kashifatu durrihi aw aradanee birahmatin hal hunna mumsikatu rahmatihi qul hasbiya Allahu AAalayhi yatawakkalu almutawakkiloona
YUSUFALI: If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, “Allah”. Say: “See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?” Say: “Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust.”
PICKTHAL: And verily, if thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth? they will say: Allah. Say: Bethink you then of those ye worship beside Allah, if Allah willed some hurt for me, could they remove from me His hurt; or if He willed some mercy for me, could they restrain His mercy? Say: Allah is my all. In Him do (all) the trusting put their trust.
SHAKIR: And should you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They would most certainly say: Allah. Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely.
KHALIFA: If you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will say, “GOD.” Say, “Why then do you set up idols beside GOD? If GOD willed any adversity for me, can they relieve such an adversity? And if He willed a blessing for me, can they prevent such a blessing?” Say, “GOD is sufficient for me.” In Him the trusters shall trust.
৩৮। যদি তুমি তাদের জিজ্ঞাসা কর আকাশ মন্ডলী এবং পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন কে ? ৪২৯৯। অবশ্যই তারা বলবে ” আল্লাহ্।” বল, ” তাহলে ভেবে দেখো , আল্লাহ্ যদি আমাকে শাস্তি দিতে চান , তোমরা আল্লাহ্র পরিবর্তে যাদের আহ্বান কর তারা কি সেই শাস্তি দূর করতে পারবে?” অথবা যদি তিনি আমাকে কোন অনুগ্রহ করতে চান , তারা কি সেই অনুগ্রহ ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারবে ?” ৪৩০০। বল, ” আমার জন্য আল্লাহ্-ই যথেষ্ট ! নির্ভরকারীগণ আল্লাহ্রই উপরে নির্ভর করে ৪৩০১। ”
৪২৯৯। দেখুন আয়াত [ ২৯ : ৬১ ] এবং আয়াত [ ২৩ : ৮৫] ও টিকা ২৯২৭। এই আয়াতে মিথ্যা উপাস্যের উপাসনাকারীদের রূপরেখা বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। এ সব লোকেরা নাস্তিক বা সন্দেহবাতিক নয়। এরা বিশ্বাস করে যে এই বিশাল মহাবিশ্বের স্রষ্টা আল্লাহ্ , তবে তাদের সে বিশ্বাস তাদের আত্মার মাঝে দৃঢ়ভাবে সুসংবদ্ধ নয়। যার ফলে তাদের আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাসের প্রতিফলন তাদের কর্মের মাধ্যমে প্রকাশ পায় না। তাদের জীবন প্রবাহিত হয় মিথ্যা ধারণার কালোস্রোতে। এরাই আল্লাহ্র পরিবর্তে মিথ্যা উপাস্যের উপাসনা করে থাকে। কখনও তা হয় পূর্বপুরুষদের মিথ্যা কুসংস্কার , কখনও তা হয় তাদের অনুভূতি হীনতার কারণে, বা দুষিত দূর্নীতিপরায়ণ পরিবেশের কারণে বা স্বার্থপর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গীর কারণে অথবা সীমাবদ্ধ জ্ঞানের কারণে। বিভিন্ন কারণে এরা আল্লাহ্র প্রতি বিশ্বাসে অবিচল হতে পারে না। কখনও এরা মাজারে যেয়ে সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করে, কখনও বা ভন্ড পীর ফকির ও জ্যোতিষের স্মরণাপন্ন হয় তাবিজ মাদুলী বা রত্ন পাথরের জন্য। নিজ স্বার্থ উদ্ধারের জন্য এরা কখনও ক্ষমতাবানদের তোষামোদ করে, বা কখনও দুর্নীতির আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করে থাকে। এদের মাঝে ন্যায় ও অন্যায় বোধের সীমারেখা খুবই অস্পষ্ট। এদেরকেই আল্লাহ্ সম্বোধন করে বলেছেন যে, ” তোমাদের মিথ্যা উপাস্য শেষ পর্যন্ত তোমাদের কোনও উপকারই করতে পারবে না ; তবে কেন তোমরা এক আল্লাহ্র সাহায্য প্রার্থনা কর না? কেন শুধুমাত্র তাঁর উপরে নির্ভর কর না ? একমাত্র আল্লাহ্-ই সকল কল্যাণের প্রভু এবং ন্যায় বিচার এবং শাস্তি দানের ক্ষমতা রাখেন। ”
৪৩০০। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৩৩ : ১৭ ]।
৪৩০১। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১২ : ৬৭ ] এবং [ ১৪ : ১২ ] আয়াত। আল্লাহ্ সর্বশক্তিমান। তিনি একাই সকল দায়িত্ব বহন করতে সক্ষম। যে আল্লাহ্র উপরে নির্ভর করে সে প্রকৃত শক্তির সন্ধান লাভ করে। সুতারাং “নির্ভরকারীগণ আল্লাহ্র উপর নির্ভর করে।”
