সে তো এক বান্দাই বটে আমি তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছি এবং তাকে করেছি বণী-ইসরাঈলের জন্যে আদর্শ।
He [’Iesa (Jesus)] was not more than a slave. We granted Our Favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel (i.e. his creation without a father).
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
In huwa illa AAabdun anAAamna AAalayhi wajaAAalnahu mathalan libanee isra-eela
YUSUFALI: He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.
PICKTHAL: He is nothing but a slave on whom We bestowed favour, and We made him a pattern for the Children of Israel.
SHAKIR: He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel.
KHALIFA: He was no more than a servant whom we blessed, and we sent him as an example for the Children of Israel.
৫৯। সে একজন বান্দা ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু নয়। আমি তাকে আমার অনুগ্রহ দান করেছিলাম, এবং ইসরাঈলী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত করেছিলাম ৪৬৬০।
৪৬৬০। হযরত ঈসার [ আ ] সময়কাল ছিলো অতি সংক্ষিপ্ত। তাঁর প্রচারিত ধর্ম ইহুদীরা বিকৃত করে ফেলে। হযরত ঈসাকে [ আ ] বনী ইসরাঈলীদের জন্য করা হয়েছিলো দৃষ্টান্ত স্বরূপ।
