যেদিন আযাব তাদেরকে ঘেরাও করবে মাথার উপর থেকে এবং পায়ের নীচ থেকে। আল্লাহ বললেন, তোমরা যা করতে, তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: ”Taste what you used to do.”
يَوْمَ يَغْشَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Yawma yaghshahumu alAAathabu min fawqihim wamin tahti arjulihim wayaqoolu thooqoo ma kuntum taAAmaloona
YUSUFALI: On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: “Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!”
PICKTHAL: On the day when the doom will overwhelm them from above them and from underneath their feet, and He will say: Taste what ye used to do!
SHAKIR: On the day when the chastisement shall cover them from above them, and from beneath their feet; and He shall say: Taste what you did.
KHALIFA: The day will come when the retribution overwhelms them, from above them and from beneath their feet; He will say, “Taste the consequences of your works.”
৫৫। সেই দিন শাস্তি তাদের আচ্ছন্ন করবে তাদের উর্দ্ধ ও অধঃদেশ থেকে ৩৪৮৭ ; এবং [ একটি কণ্ঠস্বর ] বলবে; ” তোমাদের কাজের [ প্রতিফল ] আস্বাদন কর ৩৪৮৮। ”
৩৪৮৭। দেখুন অনুরূপ আয়াত [ ৬ : ৬৫ ]।
৩৪৮৮। নিউটনের সূত্র অনুযায়ী “Every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”। এ কথা শুধু যে পদার্থ বিদ্যায় জড় পর্দাথের বেলাতে প্রযোজ্য তাই নয় , এ কথা জীবনের সর্বক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য, এমনকি আধ্যাত্মিক জীবনের প্রতিও তা প্রযোজ্য। সুতারাং এই আয়াতে ” তোমাদের কাজের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন কর ” বাক্যটি কোনও তীব্র ভৎর্সনা নয়, পাপীদের কর্মফলের উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। পাপ কাজ তাদের আত্মার স্বচ্ছতাকে ঢেকে দেয় – আত্মা পাপের অন্ধকারে নিমজ্জিত হয়। সুতারাং আত্মার অন্ধত্ব তাদেরই কর্মফল বই আর কিছু নয়। এ ব্যাপারে তারা আর কাউকে দোষারোপ করতে পারবে না। দয়াময় আল্লাহ্ তাদের বারে বারে সুযোগ দান করেছেন , কিন্তু তারা তা গ্রহণ করে নাই, সুতারাং আল্লাহ্র ন্যায় বিচার বা আইন এখন প্রযোজ্য হবেই।
