আমি রসূলকে কবিতা শিক্ষা দেইনি এবং তা তার জন্যে শোভনীয়ও নয়। এটা তো এক উপদেশ ও প্রকাশ্য কোরআন।
We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur’an making things clear:
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAAra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waqur-anun mubeenun
YUSUFALI: We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur’an making things clear:
PICKTHAL: And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain,
SHAKIR: And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran,
KHALIFA: What we taught him (the messenger) was not poetry, nor is he (a poet). This is but a formidable proof, and a profound Quran.
৬৯। আমি রাসুলকে কাব্য রচনা করতে শিক্ষা দেই নাই ৪০১৫। এটা তার জন্য উপযুক্তও নয়। ইহা তো কেবল এক উপদেশ এবং কুর-আন , যা সব কিছু সুষ্পষ্ট করে থাকে।
৪০১৫। দেখুন আয়াত [ ২৬ : ২২৪ ] এবং টিকা ৩২৩৭ যেখানে কবিদের সম্বন্ধে বলা হয়েছে। বিশেষত : কাব্য হচ্ছে রূপকথার গল্প স্বরূপ , যার কোনও বাস্তব ভিত্তি নাই যা কাল্পনিক , অবাস্তব ও মিথ্যা ঘটনার বর্ণনা ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু নয়। শুধুমাত্র শব্দের ঝংকারে মানুষের মাঝে বিভ্রান্তি ঘটানোর চেষ্টা মাত্র। অপরপক্ষে কোরাণ হচ্ছে, জীবনের বাস্তব পথপ্রদর্শক , সত্য এবং স্বচ্ছ ধারণার প্রকাশ। সুতারাং রাসুলকে কবি বলার অবকাশ নাই , তিনি কোনও কাব্যও রচনা করেন নাই।
