বলুন, আমার পালনকর্তা পরওয়া করেন না যদি তোমরা তাঁকে না ডাক। তোমরা মিথ্যা বলেছ। অতএব সত্বর নেমে আসবে অনিবার্য শাস্তি।
Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): ”My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment).”
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًا
Qul ma yaAAbao bikum rabbee lawla duAAaokum faqad kaththabtum fasawfa yakoonu lizaman
YUSUFALI: Say (to the Rejecters): “My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!”
PICKTHAL: Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment.
SHAKIR: Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come.
KHALIFA: Say, “You attain value at my Lord only through your worship. But if you disbelieve, you incur the inevitable consequences.”
৭৬। সেখানে তারা বাস করবে, বাসস্থান ও বিশ্রাম স্থল হিসেবে তা কত চমৎকার।
৭৭। [ প্রত্যাখানকারীদের ] বল, ” তোমরা আমার প্রভুকে না ডাকলে তার কিছুই আসে যায় না ৩১৩৬। যেহেতু তোমরা [ তাঁকে ] প্রত্যাখান করেছ, ফলে অচিরেই নেমে আসবে অপরিহার্য [ শাস্তি ]।”
৩১৩৬। কোনও অবিমৃষ্যকারী যেনো মনে না করে যে মানুষের এবাদতের দ্বারা আল্লাহ্ উপকৃত হন। আমরা তাঁর উপাসনা করি আমাদের নিজের আত্মিক সমৃদ্ধির জন্য। আল্লাহ্ অভাবমুক্ত। মানুষের নিকট তাঁর কিছুই চাওয়া পাওয়ার নাই। বরং তাঁর করুণা ব্যতীত তাঁর সৃষ্টি অস্তিত্ব রাখতে অক্ষম। যারা একগুঁয়ে ও অবাধ্য ভাবে বিশ্ব স্রষ্টাকে অস্বীকার করে তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের ক্ষতি করে। মহাক্ষতি তাদের দ্বারপ্রান্তে। শাস্তি তাদের অপরিহার্য।
