বলূনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, ক্ষমা করুন ও রহম করুন। রহমকারীদের মধ্যে আপনি শ্রেষ্ট রহমকারী।
And say (O Muhammad SAW): ”My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!”
وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Waqul rabbi ighfir wairham waanta khayru alrrahimeena
YUSUFALI: So say: “O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!”
PICKTHAL: And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy.
SHAKIR: And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones.
KHALIFA: Say, “My Lord, shower us with forgiveness and mercy. Of all the merciful ones, You are the Most Merciful.”
১১৮। সুতারাং বল, ” হে আমার প্রভু ! তুমি ক্ষমা কর এবং দয়া কর। তুমিই তো শ্রেষ্ঠ দয়ালু।”
২৯৫৩। এই সূরার প্রথম আয়াতে বিশ্বাসীদের সম্বন্ধে যে আশ্বাস দেয়া হয়েছে ঠিক সেই একই ভাষাতে অবিশ্বাসীদের বিপরীত ভাবে সাবধান করা হয়েছে। যারা পূণ্যাত্মা তাদের সফলতা দান করবেন স্বয়ং স্রষ্টা। অপরপক্ষে যারা কুফরী করে তাদের পতন অবশ্যাম্ভবী।
