হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কালামকে অস্বীকার কর, অথচ তোমরাই তাঁর প্রবক্তা?
O people of the Scripture! (Jews and Christians): ”Why do you disbelieve in the Ayât of Allâh, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad SAW present in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth).”
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ
Ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona bi-ayati Allahi waantum tashhadoona
YUSUFALI: Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses?
PICKTHAL: O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the revelations of Allah, when ye (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)?
SHAKIR: O followers of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah while you witness (them)?
KHALIFA: O followers of the scripture, why do you reject these revelations of GOD though you bear witness (that this is the truth)?
