আপনি আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যকে আহবান করবেন না। তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন উপাস্য নেই। আল্লাহর সত্তা ব্যতীত সবকিছু ধবংস হবে। বিধান তাঁরই এবং তোমরা তাঁরই কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
And invoke not any other ilâh (god) along with Allâh, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Everything will perish save His Face. His is the Decision, and to Him you (all) shall be returned.
وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Wala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara la ilaha illa huwa kullu shay-in halikun illa wajhahu lahu alhukmu wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona
YUSUFALI: And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye (all) be brought back.
PICKTHAL: And cry not unto any other god along with Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Everything will perish save His countenance. His is the command, and unto Him ye will be brought back.
SHAKIR: And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back.
KHALIFA: You shall not worship beside GOD any other god. There is no other god beside Him. Everything perishes except His presence. To Him belongs all sovereignty, and to Him you will be returned.
৮৮। আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্যকে ডাকবে না। তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্য নাই। তাঁর সত্তা ব্যতীত সকল কিছুই ধ্বংস হবে ৩৪২১। সকল বিধান তারই অধীনে এবং তোমাদের [সকলকে ] তারই নিকট ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে।
৩৪২১। এই আয়াতটির মাধ্যমে সম্পূর্ণ সূরাটির সার সংক্ষেপ করা হয়েছে। একমাত্র আল্লাহ্ই হচ্ছেন অনাদি ও অনন্ত সত্য। এই বিশাল বিশ্বব্রহ্মান্ডের সকল কিছুই সর্বদা পরিবর্তনশীল। কিছুই স্থায়ী নয়। সবই সময়ের সাথে সাথে ধ্বংস হয়ে যায় ও ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে। একমাত্র আল্লাহ্র সত্ত্বাই শেষ পর্যন্ত বিরাজ করবে
