এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে একত্রিত করা হবে-
And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.)
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ
WajumiAAa alshshamsu waalqamaru
YUSUFALI: And the sun and moon are joined together,-
PICKTHAL: And sun and moon are united,
SHAKIR: And the sun and the moon are brought together,
KHALIFA: And the sun and the moon crash into one another.
৯। সূর্য এবং চন্দ্র একত্রে মিলিত হবে ৫৮১৭,
৫৮১৭। চন্দ্রের নিকট সূর্য হচ্ছে আলোর উৎস। কিন্তু প্রকৃত সত্য হচ্ছে যে, সূর্যের আলোকেও সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে। কেয়ামত দিবসে শুধু যে চাঁদই তার আলো হারিয়ে ফেলবে তাই-ই নয়, সূর্যও তার আলো হারিয়ে ফেলবে। সূর্য চন্দ্র প্রত্যেকেই হবে বৈশিষ্ট্যহীন,নিস্প্রভ, শূন্য, যাদের আলো নিভিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে, যাদের অত্যুজ্জ্বল আলোর বন্যা শেষ করে দেয়া হয়েছে। কারণ আল্লাহ্র নূরের অত্যুজ্জ্বল বন্যায় সর্বদিক উদ্ভাসিত থাকবে সেই নূতন পৃথিবীতে। দেখুন [ ৩৯ : ৬৯ ] আয়াতের টিকা ৪৩৪৪।
