গোনাহগারদের জন্যে এছাড়া আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না।
And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabarî, Vol. 27, Page 36].
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa-inna lillatheena thalamoo AAathaban doona thalika walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
YUSUFALI: And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not.
PICKTHAL: And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not.
SHAKIR: And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know.
KHALIFA: Those who transgress suffer retribution here, but most of them do not know.
৪৭। যারা পাপ করে, অবশ্যই তাদের জন্য এ ছাড়া [ দুনিয়াতে ] আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে ৫০৮০। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা বুঝতে পারে না।
৫০৮০। শেষ বিচারের দিন প্রত্যেকের জন্য এক অবশ্যাম্ভবী সত্য। জালিমদের কোনও ষড়যন্ত্র সেদিন কোন কাজে আসবে না। এই শাস্তি ব্যতীতও জালিমদের জন্য আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে – সে শাস্তি হবে ইহকালেই – পার্থিব বিভিন্ন ঘাত-প্রতিঘাতে।
