অতঃপর আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বাগানে এক বিপদ এসে পতিত হলো। যখন তারা নিদ্রিত ছিল।
Then there passed by on the (garden) something (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.
فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ
Fatafa AAalayha ta-ifun min rabbika wahum na-imoona
YUSUFALI: Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep.
PICKTHAL: Then a visitation from thy Lord came upon it while they slept
SHAKIR: Then there encompassed it a visitation from your Lord while they were sleeping.
KHALIFA: A passing (storm) from your Lord passed by it while they were asleep.
১৯। অতঃপর তোমার প্রভুর নিকট থেকে [ বাগানে ] এক বিপর্যয় হানা দিল ৫৬০৮, [ যা সব কিছুকে ধ্বংস করলো ], যখন তারা নিদ্রিত ছিলো।
৫৬০৮। প্রচন্ড প্রাকৃতিক বিপর্যয় ফল বাগানে হানা দিয়ে সমস্ত ফল ও ফলগাছ এক কথায় সম্পূর্ণ বাগানকে তছনছ করে দিয়েছিলো। এই ধ্বংসজ্ঞ এতটাই প্রবল ছিলো যে বাগানের মালিকরাও তাদের বাগানকে সনাক্ত করতে সক্ষম হয়েছিলো না।
